The products contain Diclofenac and Dexamethasone, which are not declared on the label

WS Global of Brooklyn, N.Y., is voluntarily recalling all lots of Himalayan Pain Relief Tea.

The products contain Diclofenac and Dexamethasone.

Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (commonly referred to as NSAIDs), which may cause increased risk of cardiovascular events, such as heart attack and stroke.

Dexamethasone is a corticosteroid commonly used to treat inflammatory conditions, and can impair a person’s ability to fight infections and can cause high blood sugar levels, muscle injuries and psychiatric problems.

There are no reports of adverse events to date.

The recalled product, used as tea and packaged in a light-yellow box containing six tea packets, printed with barcode 0841920015, was sold nationwide online and by Amazon.

What to do
