Valley International recalls frozen Korean-Style Beef

The product contains milk, an allergen not declared on the label

Valley International Cold Storage Acquisition of Harlingen, Texas, is recalling approximately 22,061 pounds of frozen Korean-Style Beef.

The recalled products are labeled as Korean-Style Beef, but contain a chicken sausage and pepper product containing milk, an allergen not declared on the label.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions.

The following item, produced on July 22, 2022, is being recalled:

  • 9.25-oz. cartons labeled as “Healthy Choice POWER BOWLS Korean-Style Beef” with lot code “5246220320” and a “best if used by” date of 04-18-2023.

The recalled product, bearing establishment number “34622” on the end flap of the carton, was shipped to retail locations nationwide.

What to do

Customers with an allergy or a sensitivity to milk who purchased the recalled product should not consume it, but discard or return it to the place of purchase.
