Table 87 Frozen expands pizza recall

Table 87 Frozen of Brooklyn, N.Y., is expanding an earlier recall to include an undetermined amount of frozen pizza products containing pork and beef.

The items were produced without undergoing federal inspection.

There are no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.

The following ready-to-eat, prosciutto and pepperoni items, produced from June 3, 2017, through June 4, 2019, are being recalled:

  • 9.6-oz. plastic shrink-wrapped packages containing a single personal size pizza identified as “TABLE 87 COAL OVEN PIZZA Home Of The Coal Oven Slice PROSCIUTTO” with UPC codes 804879558286 and 10804879558283.
  • 9.7-oz. plastic shrink-wrapped packages containing a single personal size pizza identified as “TABLE 87 COAL OVEN PIZZA Home Of The Coal Oven Slice PEPPERONI” with UPC code 804879583080.

The recalled products bear establishment number “EST. 51192” inside the USDA mark of inspection, which was applied without authorization.

They were shipped to retail and wholesale locations, and sold online nationwide.

What to do

Customers who purchased the recalled products should not consume them, but discard or return them to the place of purchase.
