Sunny Dell Foods recalls Rao’s red peppers with mushrooms

Sunny Dell Foods of Oxford, Pa., is recalling Rao’s Homemade Brand Roasted Red Peppers with Portobello Mushrooms.

The product may contain pine nuts, an allergen not declared on the label.

No illnesses have been reported to date.

The recalled product, which comes in a 12-oz glass jar marked with lot # SD21160-03 RPOA, on the lid/cap, with UPC 7 47479 00110 6, was sold by retail stores in the Northeast U.S., and through mail order e-commerce.

What to do

Customers with an allergy or sensitivity to pine nuts who purchased the recalled product should not consume it, but return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
