The low-pressure fuel pump inside the fuel tank may fail.
Fuel pump failure can cause an engine stall while the vehicle is being driven, increasing the risk of a crash.
What to do
Dealers will replace the low-pressure fuel pump free of charge.
Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 13, 2021.
