ReadyLIFT is recalling 1,844 ReadyLIFT Lift Kits designed to fit certain model year 2019-2021 Dodge Ram 1500s, model year 2015-2020 Ford F-150s, model year 2005-2016 Ford Super Dutys, & model year 2017-2021 Ford F-250s and F-350s.
Certain bolts within the Lift Kits may not have been heat-treated properly, which can allow them to break. Broken bolts may cause separation of the suspension lower control arm, radius arm, relocation bracket, or the crossmember from the frame or chassis.
Separated suspension components can cause a loss of vehicle control, or create a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
What to do
ReadyLIFT will work with their distributors to notify owners, and dealers will replace the bolts free of charge.
The recall is expected to begin in March, 2021.
