Volkswagen Group of America is recalling 43,091 of the following vehicles:

Model year 2021 Golf GTIs, Jetta GLIs, Jetta NFs, Arteon Fls & Tiguan LWBs

Model year 2022 Taos, Jetta Pas & Tiguan PAs, and

Model year 2021-2022 Atlas Cross Sports & Atlas FLs.

The manufacturing process of the eMMC memory module in the infotainment system may cause the failure of the rearview camera image to display.

A rearview camera that does not display an image reduces the driver's rear view, increasing the risk of a crash.

What to do

Take your vehicle to the dealer where the infotainment software will be updated free of charge.

Owners may contact Volkswagen's customer service at (800) 893-5298. Volkswagen's number for this recall is 91DV.

VW has recalled more than a-half million vehicles thus far in 2022.
