Gelato Boy of Boulder, Colo., is recalling 5,824 pints of Chocolate Chunk Gelato.

The product may contain milk, an allergen not declared on the label.

No illnesses have been reported to date.

The recalled product, labeled “CHOCOLATE CHUNK GELATO” in a 16-oz paper pint container with a lid, lot code 4043T2, a Best By date of 04/25 and UPC 853457008002, was sold in the ice cream and novelties aisle of grocery stores nationwide including -- but not limited to -- Sprouts Farmer’s Market, King Soopers / City Market, Whole Foods Market and others.

What to do

Customers with a milk allergy or sensitivity who purchased the recalled product should not consume it, but discard or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
