P&G recalls various aerosol dry conditioner and shampoo sprays

Procter & Gamble is recalling Pantene, Aussie, Herbal Essences, and Waterless aerosol dry conditioners and aerosol dry shampoos, along with previously discontinued Old Spice and Hair Food aerosol dry shampoos.

Some of the products contain benzene, which is classified as a carcinogen. The firm has not received any reports of adverse events to date.

A list of the recalled products, packaged in aerosol cans and sold nationwide through retail outlets and online channels, may be found here.

The first four numbers of the production code are the only ones necessary to determine if your product is affected.

What to do

Customers who purchased the recalled products should stop using them and discard them.
