Procter & Gamble is recalling specific Old Spice and Secret aerosol spray antiperspirants and its Old Spice Below Deck aerosol spray.

The products contain benzene, which is classified as a human carcinogen. The company has not received any reports of adverse events to date

A list of the recalled products, used as antiperspirants and hygiene products and packaged in aerosol cans, may be found here.

The recalled products, with expiration dates through September 2023, were sold nationwide by retail outlets and online.

What to do

Customers who purchased the recalled products should discard them. Old Spice and Secret will offer reimbursement for the recalled products.

Consumers with questions may contact the companies at (888) 339-7689 Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (EST). They can also go online and visit www.oldspice.com and www.secret.com for more information about the recalled products and to learn how to receive reimbursement.
