MSI Express recalls Knorr curry chicken and rice soup mix

MSI Express of Grand Prairie, Texas, is recalling approximately 16,498 pounds of chicken and rice soup mix.

The product contains milk, an allergen not declared on the label. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions.

The recalled product, “KNORR PROFESSIONAL SOUP du jour RED THAI STYLE CURRY CHICKEN WITH RICE SOUP MIX,” comes in 1.29-lb. plastic pouch packages with “best by” dates of January 19, 2024, for products sold in the U.S, and April 26, 2023, for those sold in Canada.

This item, bearing the establishment number “P- 44055” inside the USDA mark of inspection, was sold to professional food service trades, such as restaurants, cafeterias, fast food chains, and sports stadiums, and online.

What to do

Customers who purchased the recalled product should not consume them, and restaurants are urged not to serve them. Instead, customers should discard or return the products to the place of purchase.
