Mountain Meadow Herbs of Somers, Mont., is recalling 54 bottles of Mountain Meadow Herbs brand Candida Flush.

The product may forcefully expel air and portions of capsules and powder when opened, resulting in consumers sustaining injuries to their hands and eyes.

No illnesses or serious injuries have been reported to date.

The recalled product -- bearing a UPC 8 13086 01593 2, lot #012001l Q, and expiration date of 12/22 -- was sold by retailers in Indiana, Minnesota, New York, Tennessee, and the Ontario province of Canada.

It was also sold directly to consumers in Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

What to do

Customers who purchased the recalled product should discard it immediately.
