More eye product danger: Brassica Pharma issues recall

Brassica Pharma is recalling various eye ointment products, a list of which may be found here.

An inspection conducted by the Food and Drug Administration found lack of sterility assurance at the facility at which they were produced.

Patients who use these products have a potential risk of eye infections or related harm.

There are no reports of adverse events to date.

The recalled products were shipped nationwide to Walmart, CVS and AACE Pharmaceuticals Inc.

Customers who purchased the recalled products should stop using them and may return them to the place of purchase.
