Model year 2006-2008 INFINITI FX35s and FX45s recalled

INFINITI is recalling 26,156 model year 2006-2008 FX35s and FX45s that previously received a replacement front passenger airbag assembly.

The airbag cushion was folded incorrectly, which could increase internal pressure and tear the cushion during deployment.

A tear may decrease airbag performance, and increase the risk of injury.

What to do

INFINITI will notify owners, and dealers will replace the front passenger airbag module free of charge.

The recall is expected to begin April 18, 2021.
