MaryRuth’s is recalling two lots of liquid probiotic for infants.

The product may be contaminated with Pseudomonas aeruginosa, a microorganism found in the environment that can cause infection in immunocompromised individuals or, rarely, in very young infants if ingested.

The company has received one complaint.

Two lots of the product, #100420218 and #100520218, with UPC barcode number 856645008587, were sold nationwide by Target, Amazon, and via direct sales from the company’s website.

What to do

Customers who purchased the recalled product should stop using it and discard it.
