LiDestri Foods is recalling 24-oz jars of Wegman’s Italian Classics Diavolo pasta sauce.
The product may contain anchovy, , an allergen not declared on the label.
No illnesses have been reported to date.
The recalled product, which comes in a mason jar with UPC 077890222409, expiration date affected March 31, 2025, and code F0589, was sold at Wegman’s grocery stores in Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia from April 3 – May 16, 2023.
What to do
Customers with an allergy or severe sensitivity to anchovy who purchased the recalled product should not consume it, but return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
