La Mer recalls oyster products

The products may be contaminated with norovirus

La Mer is recalling Les Huîtres Cadoret – La Perle Noire brand #4 oysters.

The products may be contaminated with norovirus.

There have been some reports of illnesses associated with consumption of these products.

People with norovirus illness usually develop symptoms of gastroenteritis within 24 to 48 hours, but feel better within one or two days.

The following products, which we sold in Canada's Quebec province, are being recalled:

Customers who purchased the recalled products should not consume them, but discard or return them to the place of purchase.
