King Arthur Flour recalls Unbleached All-Purpose Flour

The product may be contaminated with E. coli

King Arthur Flour of Norwich, Vt., is recalling 14,218 cases of Unbleached All-Purpose Flour that may be contaminated with E. coli (Escherichia coli) bacteria.

No illnesses have been reported to date.

The recalled Unbleached All-Purpose Flour (5 lb.) was distributed through retailers and distributors nationwide.

The 5-lb., bags of Unbleached All-Purpose Flour with the following Best Used by Dates AND lot codes on the bottom of the side panel, below the nutrition facts panel, are being recalled:

  •  BEST USED BY 12/07/19   LOT:   L18A07C
  •  BEST USED BY 12/08/19   LOTS: L18A08A, L18A08B
  •  BEST USED BY 12/14/19   LOTS: L18A14A, L18A14B, L18A14C

What to do

Consumers who purchased the recalled product should not consume it, but discard or return it to the place of purchase for credit or refund.
