Johnsonville recalls Beddar with Cheddar pork sausage links

The product may be contaminated with thin strands of black plastic fibers

Johnsonville of Sheboygan Falls, Wis., is recalling approximately 42,062 pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) Beddar with Cheddar pork sausage links.

The product may be contaminated with extraneous materials -- specifically very thin strands of black plastic fibers.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions.

The recalled item, which was produced on January 26, 2023, and comes in a 14-oz. vacuum-packed packages with a Best By 07/11/2023 C35 code date and establishment number “EST. 34224” inside the USDA mark of inspection, was shipped to retail locations in Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma and Texas.
