J&M Foods recalls Lavender Shortbread Cookies

The product contains soy or eggs, which are allergens not declared on the label

J&M Foods is recalling its Lavender Shortbread Cookies.

The product was erroneously packed with Chocolate Chip Cookies that contain soy and egg. The packaging does not list these potential allergens in the ingredients list.

No illnesses have been reported to date.

The recalled Favorite Day Lavender Shortbread, whch comes in a 7-oz package with UPC 0-85239-28609-8 and a Best By date of 18-Apr-2023, was sold at Target stores throughout the U.S.

What to do

Customers with an allergy or sensitivity to egg or soy who purchased the recalled product should not consume it. Instead, they should contact Target at (800) 440-0680 or J&M Foods at (800) 264-2278 for a refund.
