PhotoIntermountain Farmers Association (IFA) of Draper, Utah, is recalling its 50-lb bags of rabbit pellets (item #1220) manufactured between March 14, 2016, and September 15, 2016.

The product may contain higher than acceptable levels of vitamin D, which may cause health problems to rabbits.

The company has received two complaints that reported illness and deaths of some of the customer's rabbits.

The recalled product has a date between 03/15/16 and 09/15/16 on the side of the blue label which represents the first use of the formula in question and the last date the formula in question was used.

The product was distributed through IFA country stores and independent dealers in Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Colorado and New Mexico.

What to do

Customers who purchased the recalled product should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
