The rearview camera wiring harness may break, causing the camera to fail

American Honda Motor Co. is recalling 117,445 model year 2017-2019 Ridgeline pickup trucks.

Opening and closing the tailgate may break the rearview camera wiring harness, causing the rearview camera to fail.

A rearview camera that does not work properly can reduce the driver's rear visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

What to do

Dealers will replace the rearview camera wiring harness free of charge.

Owner will likely be notified by mail starting January 16, 2023.
