Hisun Motors Corp. U.S.A., of McKinney, Texas, is recalling about 2,500 Hisun 250cc utility vehicles.

Grass can accumulate on the underside of the utility vehicle near the exhaust pipe, posing a fire hazard.

The firm has received five reports of vehicle fires. No injuries have been reported.

This recall involves Hisun Motors Corp. U.S.A. Sector 250cc and RK Performance 250cc utility vehicles sold in red, blue, and camouflage colors.

Hisun and the model name are printed on the frame near the right rear wheel of the vehicles.

The utility vehicles, manufactured in Vietnam and China, were sold at Rural King stores nationwide from November 2014, through June 2021, for about $5,000.
