Fuel pump concern prompts recall of Audi Q8s and Q7s

The fuel pump may fail causing the engine to stall

Audi is recalling  49,443 model year 2019-2021 Q8s and model year 2020-2021 Q7s.

A component inside the fuel pump may break, causing the fuel pump to fail.

Failure of the fuel pump can cause an engine to stall, increasing the risk of a crash.

What to do

Dealers will replace the fuel pump, free of charge.

Owner notification letters were expected to be mailed September 16, 2022.
