Forest River recalls XLR Toy Hauler recreational vehicles

Forest River Inc. Is recalling 125 model year 2021-2022 XLR Toy Hauler recreational vehicles due to a missing component. 

The company says a protective panel that separates the vehicle’s furnace and furnace components from the mid-deck cargo area is missing. This could cause cargo to come into contact with the furnace wiring and other components, causing an electrical short and increasing the risk of a fire. 

Forest River is working with dealers so that a felt-covered wall panel can be installed on the recalled vehicles at no charge to owners. Notification letters are expected to be mailed on December 1, 2021.
