Forest River recalls Continental and Cargo Mate Cargo trailers

Forest River is recalling 325 model year 2021-2022 Continental and Cargo Mate Cargo trailers.

The couplers on the trailers were improperly welded, which may cause the trailer to separate from the tow vehicle.

Trailer separation from the tow vehicle can increase the risk of a crash.

What to do

Dealers will inspect and replace the coupler -- as necessary -- free of charge.

Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on December 22, 2021.
