The engine may fail, causing a fire

Ford Motor Company is recalling 125,322 model year 2020-2023 Escapes, model year 2022-2023 Mavericks and model year 2021-2023 Corsair vehicles with 2.5L HEV or PHEV engines.

This recall expands and replaces a recall issued in July 2022.

Vehicles repaired under the previous recall will need to have the new remedy completed.
