Evans Food Group recalls pork pellet products

Evans Food Group of Chicago, Ill., is recalling approximately 10,359 pounds of pork pellet products.

The products did not undergo import re-inspection into the U.S. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions.

A list of the recalled pork rind and chicharrones items containing the pellets may be found here.

The recalled products, bearing the establishment number “EST. 6030” inside the USDA mark of inspection, were shipped to retail locations in Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and Washington.

What to do

Customers who purchased the recalled products should not consume them. Instead, they should discard or return them to the place of purchase.
