DGFA recalls women’s scarves

The scarves do not meet the federal flammability standard for clothes

DGFA Inc., of China is recalling about 200 women’s scarves.

The scarves fail to meet federal flammability standard for clothing textiles, posing a risk of burn injuries to consumers.

No incidents or injuries are reported.

This recall includes DG Fashion women’s scarves with fringe. They measure about 78 inches long by 27 inches wide, are shimmery in appearance, and were sold in black gold, blue, green, purple, gold and wine red. The scarves are made from 70% silk and 30% polyester.

The scarves, manufactured in China, were sold online at from June 2015, through March 2017, for between $10 and $21.

What to do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled scarves and contact the firm for a full refund. DGFA and Amazon are contacting consumers who purchased the scarves directly.
