Design Within Reach is recalling approximately 200 of its Arc Collection Furniture products that do not meet the standard of the federal lead paint ban.
The surface paint used on the furniture reportedly contains lead levels that exceed federal limits, and exposure to it could lead to lead poisoning. The recall notice notes that lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can lead to adverse health effects. However, no incidents or injuries have been reported thus far.
The full list of products -- with information on the product name, color, and SKU codes -- can be found on the Consumer Product Safety Commission’s website here.
