Chrysler recalls 17,000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Ls and Grand Cherokees

Chrysler is recalling 17,108 model year 2022-2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Ls and Grand Cherokees.

The airbag warning label may be missing from the dashboard.

Without a label that shows the proper restraint usage guidelines, the occupants may have an increased risk of injury in a crash.

What to do

Chrysler will mail owners the warning label information, free of charge. Dealers will inspect unsold vehicles and install the required label -- as necessary -- free of charge.

Owners will be notified by mail starting June 30, 2023.
