Bellisio Foods recalls Michelina’s Spaghetti with Meat Sauce

Bellisio Foods of Jackson, Ohio, is recalling approximately 3,927 pounds of not-ready-to-eat spaghetti with meat sauce.

The product contains soy, an allergen not declared on the label.

There are no confirmed reports of adverse reactions

The following frozen, not-ready-to-eat item, produced on April 22, 2021, is being recalled:

  • 8.5-oz paperboard tray with lid packages containing “Michelina’s Spaghetti with Meat Sauce” with lot code J1112N8, “BEST BY 22APR2022”, and a UPC code of “7 17854 10503 9” on the bottom label.

The recalled product, bearing establishment number “EST. 18297” inside the USDA mark of inspection, was shipped to retail locations nationwide.

What to do

Customers with an allergy or sensitivity to soy who purchased the recalled product should not consume it, but discard or return it to the place of purchase.
