Monaghan Mushrooms is recalling Belle Grove brand Whole White Mushrooms.

The product may permit the growth of Clostridium botulinum, whose symptoms may include include facial paralysis or loss of facial expression, unreactive or fixed pupils, difficulty swallowing, drooping eyelids, blurred or double vision, difficulty speaking, including slurred speech, and a change in sound of voice, including hoarseness.

There are no reported illnesses.

The recalled product, with the UPC code 87462 00000 3 and Best Before of January15, 2021, was sold at retail stores in Canada's Ontario province.

What to do

Customers who purchased the recalled product should not consume it, but discard or return it to the store where purchased.
