Abdallah Candies recalls Lund’s and Byerly’s sea salt caramels

The product contains almonds, an allergen not declared on the label

Abdallah Candies of Apple Valley, Minn., is recalling Lund’s and Byerly’s sea salt caramels.

The boxes contain sea salt almond caramels instead of sea salt caramels. Almonds are an allergen not declared on the label.

There are no reports of illnesses to date.

The recalled product, packaged in 16-oz boxes with a band around the box containing nutrition and ingredient information and the code AC31 on the bottom of the boxes, was sold in Lund’s and Byerly’s grocery stores in Minnesota from May 21, 2020 through August 5, 2020.

What to do

Customers who purchased the recalled product should not consume the product, but discard or return it to the place of purchase.
