Infanttech of Montebello, Calif., is recalling about 17,100 Zooby video baby monitors for cars.

The baby monitor’s battery can malfunction, overheat and burst, posing a fire hazard.

The firm has received three reports of the monitors catching fire. No injuries have been reported.

This recall involves Zooby video baby monitors for cars housed in a plush animal toy including a giraffe, dog, fox, rabbit and panda.

The recalled Zoobys have battery model number HJ554050 batch 2136.

The brand name Zooby is on the bottom front of the monitor.

The baby monitors, manufactured in China, were sold online at infanttech.com and Amazon.com from January 2022 through May 2023, for between $130 and $190.

What to do

Consumers should immediately remove the battery from the plush camera by unscrewing the battery door with a small screwdriver from the bottom of the plush camera, and may continue using the plush camera and monitor plugged in.

Ford Motor Company is recalling 14,452 model year 2019-2020 Fusion PHEVs.

The battery energy control module (BECM) may become damaged due to excessive voltage and current flow.

A damaged BECM can result in a loss of drive power or fire, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

What to do

Owners should not charge their vehicles until the remedy is completed. The remedy is currently under development.

Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk are expected to be mailed July 10, 2023, with second letters sent once the remedy is available.

Michael Giordano International is recalling about 26,400 Boost the Mood Ceramic Mugs.

The mugs are mislabeled as microwave safe and can spark if microwaved, posing a fire hazard.

The firm has received one report of a mug smoking while microwaving.

This recall involves 10-oz ceramic mugs in navy blue with a gold metallic handle and “Boost The Mood” in gold lettering. A white, round label on the bottom of the mug describes it as “microwave safe.”

The recalled mugs were sold as part of a promotional set including socks, hand cream and foot cream.

Only the mug is being recalled.

The mugs, manufactured in China, were sold exclusively at Ulta Beauty stores nationwide and online at www.ulta.com as part of a promotional set, including socks, hand cream and foot cream from October 2022, through March 2023, for about $16.

What to do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled ceramic mugs and contact Michael Giordano International to receive a $10 cash refund for the value of the ceramic mug.

Consumers will be directed to dispose of their mugs after successfully registering for the recall.

Land Rover is recalling 29,861 model year 2017-2020 Discovery vehicles.

The UniLatch Keyless Vehicle (KV) entry function may fail to latch the rear passenger doors properly, which can result in the doors opening while the vehicle is being driven.

Additionally, the instrument cluster open-door warning light may fail to alert the driver of this condition.

Rear passenger doors that open while the vehicle is moving can increase the risk of a crash.

An instrument cluster warning light that fails to alert the driver about unsecured doors can increase the risk of injury in a crash.

What to do

Dealers will disable the KV entry function free of charge.

The following item, produced on March 1, 2023, with time stamps ranging between 5:45 --5:56 pm, and shipped to retail customer distribution centers in California, Colorado, Oregon and Utah, and further distributed nationwide, is being recalled:

• 4.31 lbs. cases of “MC Beef Shepherd’s Pie” with lot code 5006306020, BEST BY FEB 24 2024 and case code 2113100032, bearing establishment number “EST 233” next to the USDA mark of inspection.

Chrysler is recalling 12,458 model year 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles equipped with 2.0L PHEV engines.

The engine may shut down due to a loss of communication between the transmission control module and the hybrid control processor.

An engine shut down can result in an unexpected loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.

What to do

Dealers will update the vehicle control software free of charge.

Owners will be notified of the recall by mail stating July 28, 2023.

Ford Motor Company is recalling 16,375 model year 2022-2023 F-150 BEVs.

The rear lightbar may have microcracks in the outer lens that allows moisture to accumulate, which can result in inoperative or flickering reverse lights.

Inoperative or flickering reverse lights may not alert other drivers that the vehicle is reversing, increasing the risk of injury or crash.

What to do

Dealers will replace the rear lightbar free of charge.

Research Products of Madison, Wis., is recalling about 40,000 steam humidifiers sold in the U.S. and Canada.

The steam humidifiers containing a specific type of electrode wire with a “D” shaped connector can loosen causing arcing and/or overheating, posing a fire hazard.

The firm has received 103 reports of the humidifiers overheating, including 10 incidents resulting in smoke or residential fires, totaling more than $10 million in damage.

This recall involves Research Products steam humidifiers with “D” shaped electrode connector wires sold under the AprilAire, Coleman, Luxaire, Bryant, Carrier and York brand names.

The steam humidifiers are generally installed alongside HVAC equipment but are separate units.

The model number can be found on a silver label placed in the bottom left corner on the outside left side panel of the Steam Humidifier.

The steam humidifiers, manufactured in the U.S., were sold at HVAC contractors nationwide and online at Amazon.com, Sylvane.com, Supplyhouse.com, Humidifiers.com and other websites from June 2010, through January 2015, installed for between $2,000 and $3,500.

Textron Specialized Vehicles of Augusta, Ga., is recalling about 13,000 Arctic Cat 8000 Series snowmobiles sold in the U.S and Canada.

The fuel rail dampener snap ring can become loose and leak fuel, posing a fire hazard.

The firm has received nine reports of fuel leaks and one reported fire. No injuries have been reported.

This recall involves Textron Specialized Vehicles Arctic Cat 8000 Series snowmobiles sold in various colors.

The snowmobiles have “ARCTIC CAT” and the model number printed on each side of the engine cowling, with the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) located on the front right-hand frame tube beside the right-hand shock.

The snowmobiles, manufactured in the U.S., were sold at Arctic Cat dealers nationwide from January 2019, through April 2023, for between $15,100 and $18,900.

American Honda Motor Co. is recalling 1,198,280 model year 2018-2023 Odysseys, model year 2019-2022 Pilots and model year 2019-2023 Passports.

Due to a faulty Media Oriented Systems Transport (MOST) communication coaxial cable connector, the rearview camera image may not appear on the display.

Failure of the rearview camera to display an image can reduce the driver's rear view, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

What to do

Dealers will replace the MOST cable harness and install a straightening cover over the vehicle cable connector free of charge.

Zuru of El Segundo, Calif., is recalling about 7.5 million full-size and mini Robo Alive Junior Baby Shark Sing & Swim Bath Toys.

When using the recalled bath toys -- particularly in a bathtub or wading pool -- a child can slip and fall or sit on the hard plastic top fin of the shark, posing risks of impalement, lacerations and punctures.

The firm is aware of 12 reports of children falling or sitting on the recalled full-size Baby Shark bath toy, resulting in impalement injuries, lacerations and puncture wounds, including to the genital, anorectal and facial areas. Nine of the incidents required stitches or medical attention.

There have been no reported incidents or injuries involving the Mini Baby Shark bath toys.

This recall involves both full-size Robo Alive Junior Baby Shark Sing & Swim bath toys and Mini Baby Shark Swimming bath toys.

The full-size Baby Shark bath toys sing and swim when placed in water.

They have a hard plastic top fin with three grooves on one side, measure about 7 inches from nose to tail and were sold individually and in packs of three in yellow, pink and blue.

The full-size bath toys have tracking label information on the bottom, including raised lettering that states model number “#25282” and a date code beginning with the letters “DG” followed by “YYYY/MM/DD” in the date range DG20190501 through DG20220619. Only full-size Baby Shark toys with a hard plastic top fin are included in this recall.

The Mini Baby Shark bath toys swim when placed in water but do not sing. They have a hard plastic top fin, measure about 4 inches from nose to tail and were sold in yellow, pink and blue. They were sold individually, in packs of two or three, and as part of a Baby Shark Music Water Park playset.

The recalled mini-size bath toys have tracking label information on the bottom, including raised lettering that states model numbers “#7163,” "#7175,” “#7166,” or “#25291” and a date code beginning with the letters “DG” followed by “YYYY/MM/DD” in the date range DG2020615 through DG2023525.

The bath toys, manufactured in China, were sold at Walmart, CVS Pharmacy, Dollar General Corp., Family Dollar Services, HEB Grocery Company, Meijer, Target, TJX Companies, Ross, and Walgreens stores nationwide and online at www.walmart.com, www.target.com, www.amazon.com and other websites.

The full-size Baby Shark bath toys were sold from May 2019, through March 2023, for between $13 and $15.

The Mini Baby Shark bath toys were sold individually and in multi-unit packs from July 2020, through June 2023, for between $6 and $20.

What to do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled bath toys and contact Zuru for a full refund of $14 for each full-size bath toy or $6 for each mini-size bath toy, in the form of a prepaid virtual Mastercard.

Consumers should disable the tail fin (by cutting it on the full-size bath toy or by bending it on the mini-size bath toy), mark the body of the shark bath toy with the word “recalled” and the unique code provided during registration for the recall, then upload a photo of the product, showing it is disabled and marked, at https://www.recallrtr.com/bathshark. Chrysler is recalling 331,401 model year 2022-2023 Jeep Grand Cherokees and model year 2021-2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Ls.

The rear coil springs may have been incorrectly installed and detach from the vehicle while it's being driven, increasing the risk of a crash.

Frito-Lay is recalling Tostitos Avocado Salsa Jar Dips.

While the front of the jar is correctly labeled as Tostitos Avocado Salsa, the back is mislabeled with another product’s nutrition information and declarations. As a result, the product may contain milk, an allergen not declared on the label.

No allergic reactions have been reported to date.

The recalled product, which comes in a 15-oz jar with a UPC ending in 05597 and a Best Before Date of November 2, 2023 or November 3, 2023, was sold nationwide at retail stores and online as early as April 5, 2023.

The owner's manual does not include instructions for adjusting or removing certain head restraints.

The brake hose can detach from the brake lever, posing a crash hazard.

The firm has received 195 reports of brake hoses detaching from the brake lever in the U.S. No injuries have been reported.

This recall involves Trek bicycles with revision 1 of the Promax Solve DSK-925 and Promax F1 DSK-927 hydraulic disc brakes installed as original equipment on the bicycle models listed in the table found here.

The serial number is printed on a sticker under the bike frame.

The disc brakes, manufactured in Taiwan, were sold at Trek dealers nationwide and online at www.trekbikes.com from June 2021, through March 2023, for between $730 and $3,300.
