    Textron recalls Arctic Cat Alterra 600 and Tracker 600 ATVs

    The ATV’s A-arm can separate from the frame and cause loss of steering control

    Textron Specialized Vehicles of Augusta, Ga., is recalling about 5,000 Arctic Cat Alterra 600 and Tracker 600 All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs).

    The firm previously recalled the Arctic Cat and Tracker ATVs in the summer of 2022.

    The ATV’s A-arm can separate from the frame and cause loss of steering control, posing crash and injury hazards.

    No incidents or injuries have been reported.

    This recall involves model years 2022-2023 Arctic Cat Alterra 600 and Tracker 600 ATVs.

    The Arctic Cat Alterra 600 ATVs were sold in green, gray and fossil (tan). The Tracker 600 vehicles were sold in red, white, camo and gray.

    The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is located on the front right-hand frame tube beside the right-hand shock. The VIN number ranges for recalled Arctic Cat Alterra 600 and Tracker 600.

    Both ATVs were manufactured in the U.S.

    The Arctic Cat Alterra was sold at Arctic Cat dealers nationwide from May 2021, through January 2023, for between $9,200 and $11,600.

    The Tracker 600 was sold at Bass Pro Shops, Cabela’s and Tracker dealers nationwide from May 2021, through January 2023, for between $7,700 to $9,900.

    What to do

    Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled ATVs and contact Textron Specialized Vehicles to arrange for a free inspection and free repair.

    Textron Specialized will instruct dealers to inspect the main frame A-arm mount brackets for cracks before adding the support bracket.

    The main frame weldment will be replaced, free of cost, along with the addition of the strengthening brackets, if the main frame A-arm mount bracket is cracking.

    The vehicles' Side-View Mirrors May Detach, reducing driver visibility

    American Honda Motor Co. is recalling 330,318 model year 2020-2021 Pilots & Ridgelines, and model year 2020-2022 Passports & Odysseys.

    The heating pads behind both side-view mirrors may not be bonded properly, allowing the mirror glass to detach.

    A loss of mirror glass can reduce driver visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

    What to do

    Dealers will replace both left and right side-view mirrors free of charge.

    Notification letters are expected to be mailed to owners May 8, 2023.

    Fantasia Trading recalls Anker Power Banks

    The power banks' lithium-ion batteries can overheat, posing a fire hazard

    Fantasia Trading of Ontario, Calif., is recalling about 42,600 Anker 535 Power Banks (PowerCore 20k).

    The lithium-ion batteries in the power banks can overheat, posing a fire hazard.

    The firm has received ten reports of incidents involving overheating, including one report of minor injuries.

    This recall involves Anker 535 Mobile Power Banks (PowerCore 20k), model number A1366.

    The power bank can be used to charge multiple devices from laptops, tablets or phones with a 30W maximum output, and comes with two USB cables and in a variety of colors.

    The power bank measures about three inches wide, six inches long and one inch deep.

    Anker is engraved on the front and the model number A1366 is on the back of the power bank.

    The power banks, manufactured in China, were sold at Target stores nationwide and online at Anker.com, Amazon.com and eBay.com from October 2022, through January 2023, for about $70.

    What to do

    Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled power banks and contact Fantasia Trading to receive a full refund as well as instructions for properly disposing of lithium-ion batteries according to local and state regulations.

    Fantasia Trading and its retailers are notifying all known purchasers directly.

      The c certification label contains incorrect GAWR information

      Audi is recalling 12,100 model year 2009-2015 Q7s.

      The Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) listed on the certification label is incorrect, which can allow the vehicle to be overloaded.

      An overloaded vehicle can increase the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Dealers will install an overlay label containing the correct rear GAWR on top of the existing safety certification label free of charge.

      58,000 Sunbeam Heated blankets recalled

      The blankets can overheat, posing fire and burn hazards

      Star Elite of Canada is recalling about 58,000 Sunbeam Queen Size Heated Blankets sold in the U.S., and Canada.

      The blankets can overheat, posing fire and burn hazards.

      The firm has received 13 reports of the blankets overheating. No injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves the Sunbeam Queen Size Heated Blanket, model number 32810027.

      The blankets were sold with detachable controllers in beige, ivory, light green, dark blue, light blue, burgundy, dark gray, light gray and gray violet.

      The Sunbeam logo and the model number are printed on the wash label affixed to the blanket.

      The blankets, manufactured in China, were sold online at Amazon.com and small independent stores nationwide from September 2022, through January 2023, for about $120.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using and unplug the recalled blankets and contact Star Elite for a full refund.

      Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) is recalling 70,225 model year 2022-2023 GLE350s, GLE450s, GLE580s, GLS450s, GLS580s, Maybach GLS600s, AMG GLE53s, AMG GLE63 Ss, and AMG GLS63s.

      This recall is an expansion of a recall issued in the autumn of 2022.

      The rear door window trim bars may detach from the vehicle while it's being driven.

      Hyundai recalls a half million vehicles due to possible fire risk

      The tow hitch harness may catch fire while the vehicle is parked or being driven

      Hyundai Motor America is recalling 567,912 of the following vehicles:

      • Model year 2019-2023 Santa Fes,
      • Model year 2021-2023 Santa Fe HEVs, and
      • Model year 2022-2023 Santa Fe Plug-in HEVs and Santa Cruz's.

      This recall is an expansion of recall from August 2022.

      The vehicles may be equipped with a tow hitch harness installed as original equipment, or purchased as an accessory through a Hyundai dealership.

      Water accumulation on the tow hitch harness module printed circuit board (PCB) may cause an electrical short, which can result in a fire.

      A fire while the vehicle is parked or being driven poses the risk of injury.

      What to do

      Owners are advised to park their vehicles outside and away from structures until the remedy is completed.

      As an interim repair, dealers will inspect the tow hitch module and remove the fuse -- as necessary -- free of charge.

      Once the final repair is available, dealers will install a new fuse and wire extension kit. Repairs will be performed free of charge.

      Letters notifying owners of the recall are expected to be mailed May 2023.

      Kawasaki recalls 33,000 engines sold on riding lawn mowers

      Fuel may leak, posing burn and fire hazards

      Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing of Maryville, Mo., is recalling about 33,000 Kawasaki FT730V-EFI lawn mower engines.

      The high-pressure fuel line can get damaged by contact with the fuel pump cover, causing a fuel leak that poses burn and fire hazards.

      The firm has received four reports of incidents involving the high-pressure fuel lines leaking including one fire. No injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves Kawasaki engines used in riding lawn mowers sold under the Ferris brand name with mower models IS 700Z ZTR, ISX 800Z ZTR and ISX 2200Z ZTR, and under the SCAG brand name with mower models Tiger Cat II and V- Ride II.

      The recalled engines are model year 2018 through 2022 Kawasaki FT730V-EFI series.

      “Kawasaki FT730V EFI” is printed on the engine air filter cover. The engine model and serial number are located on the engine fan housing.

      The lawn mower engines, manufactured in the U.S., were sold at Kawasaki, Ferris, and SCAG dealers nationwide from November 2017, through September 2022, for between $8,000 and 13,000 for mowers with Kawasaki FT730V-EFI engines.

      Consumers should immediately stop using mowers with the recalled engines and contact Kawasaki or a Kawasaki dealer to schedule a free repair.

      Polaris recalls 94,000 Sportsman ATVs

      The front brakes may fail and/or catch fire

      Polaris Industries of Medina, Minn., is recalling about 94,000 model years 2021-2023 Sportsman 450 and 570 All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) sold in the U.S., and Canada.

      An improperly assembled wiring harness can contact the brake line and/or vehicle frame during use which can result in a loss of the use of the front brakes and/or a fire.

      The firm has received five reports of fire and three reports of damaged wires. Of the five reports of fire, two reports also indicated a loss of the front brake function.

      This recall involves certain VINs of model years 2021-2023 Sportsman 450 and 570 ATVs.

      The recalled ATVs were sold in green, blue, beige, red, camouflage, gray, titanium metallic, black, white, azure crystal and orange.

      POLARIS is stamped on the front grille and POLARIS and Sportsman are printed on the sides of the vehicles. The model name is also printed on the side of the chassis.

      The VIN is located on the ATV’s left rear frame.

      The ATVs, manufactured in the U.S., were sold at Polaris dealers nationwide from May 2019, through November 2022, for between $6,600 and $11,600.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled ATVs and contact a Polaris dealer to schedule a free repair.

      Polaris has notified consumers to stop riding the vehicles and is contacting registered owners directly to provide more details about the repair.

      IKEA recalls 40,000 mirrors in U.S., and Canada

      The mirror can fall, posing a laceration hazard

      IKEA US Retail of Virginia is recalling about 40,000 mirrors sold in the U.S., and Canada.

      The plastic fittings that attach the mirror to the wall can break, causing the mirror to fall, posing a laceration hazard.

      The firm has received 55 incident reports globally, and one report of the plastic fittings coming loose and the mirror falling off the wall in the U.S.

      This recall involves all sizes of LETTAN flat mirrors that are frameless, about 38 inches high and were sold in 23, 31, 39 and 47 inches wide.

      The recalled mirrors have a date stamp before and including 2105 (YYWW).

      The date stamp, located on the back of the mirror, is in (YYWW) format where the first two digits represent the year and the last two digits represent the week of manufacture.

      The mirrors, manufactured in Switzerland, were sold at IKEA stores nationwide and online at IKEA.com from December 2019, through October 2022, for between $23 and $56

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled mirrors and contact IKEA to order a free set of replacement wall fittings and instructions.

      Alternatively, customers may return the mirror to any IKEA store for a full refund.

      Proof of purchase (receipt) is not required.

      Dorel recalls 14,000 XP Rear-facing Infant Seats

      The inner carrier will not restrain a child without use of the outer carrier

      Dorel Juvenile Group is recalling 14,510 Maxi-Cosi Coral XP Rear-facing Infant Seats, model number IC313.

      The child seat inner carrier is not sufficient to restrain a child without the use of the outer carrier.

      An insufficiently restrained child has an increased risk of injury in a crash.

      What to do

      Owners should use the inner carrier of the Coral XP only when it is attached to the outer carrier and installed with or without the base using the vehicle belt restraint system, consistent with the existing instruction booklet and labels.

      Dorel will offer a refund or replace the child seat free of charge.

      Mockingbird expands recall to include single strollers

      The lower side of the stroller frame can crack, posing a fall risk

      Mockingbird of New York is expanding an earlier recall adding about 25,390 single strollers to the 149,000 Single-to-Double Strollers recalled in November 2022.

      The lower side of the stroller frame can crack, posing a fall risk to children in the stroller.

      The firm has received 13 reports of cracks in the frame of Single Strollers. No injuries have been reported.

      This recall expansion involves Mockingbird Single Strollers, which are made of aluminum and are black or silver.

      The seats are black, and the canopies are available in black, light blue, dark blue, pink and light green.

      The recall expansion includes Mockingbird Single Strollers with a lot number between 18322 and 22278, and lot numbers 23174 and 23175 only.

      The lot number is a five-digit number found on the white product label located on the inner left side of the stroller frame near the top of the basket.

      The strollers, manufactured in China, were sold online at hellomockingbird.com, babylist.com and goodbuygear.com from March 2020, through March 2023, for between $350 and $450.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Single strollers and contact Mockingbird to receive a free frame reinforcement kit, which includes two frame clamps that attach to the sides of the stroller to reinforce the frame.

      Subaru recalls 8,400 model year 2019-2022 Crosstrek Hybrids

      Corrosion of the battery harness may cause a loss of power

      Subaru of America is recalling 8,413 model year 2019-2022 Crosstrek Hybrids.

      The harness terminal that supplies low-voltage power from the converter to the 12-Volt battery may corrode and break, preventing the battery from charging.

      A battery that is unable to recharge can cause a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Dealers will replace the converter terminal mounting bracket. If corrosion is found on the terminals, the 12-Volt output harness and terminals will also be replaced. Repairs will be performed free of charge.

      Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 14, 2023.

      The recall follows an outbreak of Hepatitis A

      Scenic Fruit Company of Gresham, Ore., is recalling frozen organic strawberries sold to Costco, Aldi, KeHE, Vital Choice Seafood, PCC Community Markets, and frozen organic tropical blend sold to Trader Joe’s.

      The recall follows an outbreak of Hepatitis A, a contagious liver disease that can range from a mild illness lasting a few weeks to a serious illness lasting several months. Hepatitis A infection can progress to liver failure.

      The HVAC System defogger does not work as intended

      Ford Motor Company is recalling 4,804 model year 2023 Transit vehicles equipped with the Special Vehicle Operations Accessory Service Kit #1 or #2 with a High Specification Vehicle Interface Connector.

      When the accessory kit is installed, the auxiliary wire harness will disable the heating, air-conditioning, and ventilation (HVAC) including the defrost and defog systems.

      An inoperative windshield defrosting and defogging system may decrease the driver's visibility under certain driving conditions, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Dealers will inspect the auxiliary wire harness and replace or repair -- as necessary -- free of charge.

      The fuel pump module may not consistently provide sufficient fuel to the engine, resulting in an engine stall.

      What to do

      Dealers will replace the fuel pump module free of charge.
