    Green Sprouts recalls toddlers stainless steel bottles and cups

    The bottles and cups bottom base contain lead, posing a poisoning hazard

    Green Sprouts of Asheville, N.C., is recalling about 10,500 Stainless Steel Straw Bottles, Sippy Cups and Sip & Straw Cups.

    The bottles and cups bottom base can break off, exposing a solder dot that contains lead, posing a lead poisoning hazard to the child. This can cause adverse health effects.

    The firm has received seven reports of incidents of the bottles’ base breaking off exposing the solder dot. No injuries have been reported.

    This recall involves 6-oz and 8-oz Green Sprouts Stainless Steel cups and bottles with tracking numbers 29218V06985, 35719V06985, and 33020V06985 on the bottom of the base.

    The recalled double-walled stainless steel bottles were sold in aqua, pink, green, and navy colors with one of three closure options: (1) a silicone sippy spout with a colored plastic lid, collar and handle (2) a silicone sippy spout and a straw spout with colored plastic lid, collar and handle, or (3) a silicone straw with plastic screw-on flip cap. The tracking number is printed on the bottom base.

    The bottles, manufactured in China, were sold at Buy Buy Baby and Whole Foods stores nationwide and online at amazon.com, www.buybuybaby.com and www.bedbathandbeyond.com from January 2020, through September 2022, for between $14 and $19.

    What to do

    Consumers should immediately take the recalled stainless steel bottles and cups away from children and discard them.

    Contact Green Sprouts for a full refund in the form of store credit or your money back.

    Daiso recalls Tiramisu Twist Cookies

    The product contains almonds and hazelnuts, allergens not declared on the label

    Daiso California of La Mirada, Calif., is recalling Tiramisu Twist Cookie.

    The product contains almonds and hazelnuts, allergens not declared on the label.

    One allergic reaction has been reported.

    The recalled product, which comes 3.4oz (96g) packages (sku 4562138450820), was sold in Daiso stores in California, Washington, Nevada, Texas, New York and New Jersey.

    What to do

    Customers who have an allergy or sensitivity to almonds and hazelnuts who purchased the recalled product should not consume it, but return it to any Daiso store for a full refund.

      ScentLok Technologies is recalling 16,667 OZ OZ20 vehicle deodorizers, part numbers 82913 and 4150390.

      The deodorizer may overheat, posing the risk of a fire inside the vehicle.

      What to do

      ScentLok's Parent Company, Nexus Outdoors, will replace the deodorizers free of charge.

      Bentex recalls children’s clothing sets

      The garments exceed the federal lead paint and lead content ban

      The Bentex Group of New York is recalling about 87,000 children’s clothing sets.

      The textile ink painted on the clothing sets contains levels of lead that exceed either the federal lead paint ban or the federal lead content ban, posing a lead poisoning hazard.

      Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health issues.

      No incidents or injuries are reported.

      The recall involves Bentex children’s clothing sets in nine different Disney themed styles. The item and batch numbers are printed on the clothing neck or side label.

      The clothing sets, manufactured in Egypt, were sold at TJMAXX, DD's/Ross, Burlington, Army & Airforce Exchange Service and other stores nationwide and online at www.amazon.com from November 2021, through August 2022, for between $5 and $25.

      Consumers should immediately take the recalled children’s clothing sets away from children and contact Bentex for instructions on how to return or dispose of the recalled clothing to receive a full refund.

      William Carter Company recalls infant’s yellow footed fleece PJs

      The William Carter Company of Atlanta, Ga., is recalling about 60,00 infants yellow footed fleece pajamas with animal graphic sold in the U.S. and Canada.

      Small metal wire pieces can be found in the pajamas, posing puncture and laceration hazards to young children.

      No incidents or injuries are reported.

      This recall involves Carter’s infants one-piece fleece, footed pajamas.

      The recalled pajamas are yellow with an all over heart design and a pink animal graphic, and were sold in children’s sizes 12M, 18M, and 24M.

      Style number 1O102410 is printed on the front of the care tag sewn on the inside of the pajamas, and the UPC number is printed on the back of the same care tag.

      The UPC numbers included in the recall are 195861313861, 195861313878, and 195861313885.

      The style number and UPC number are also printed on the price tag.

      The pajamas, manufactured in Cambodia, were sold at Carter’s, Kohl’s, Macy’s, Belk, Boscov’s and other stores nationwide and online at www.carters.com from July through September 2022 for about $22.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately take the recalled garments away from children and return them to a Carter’s store location for a full refund in the form of a gift card.

      The front windshield wiper motor may become inoperative, causing the wipers to fail.

      Windshield wipers that don't work can reduce visibility in certain conditions, increasing the risk of a crash.

      BS Interactive recalls Stashables children’s ramp sets

      The product contains levels of lead that exceed the federal lead paint ban

      BS Interactive of Panama City, Fla., is recalling about 17,000 Stashables finger skateboard ramp sets.

      Surface paint on the miniature skateboard and scooter toys in the ramp sets contains levels of lead that exceed the federal lead paint ban, posing a risk of lead poisoning.

      The miniature scooter toy also fails to comply with the federal lead content ban.

      Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.

      No incidents or injuries are reported.

      This recall involves Stashables-branded finger skateboard ramp sets.

      Each 6 or 11-piece toy set consists of miniature skateboard plastic ramps with graffiti art and include a mixture of toy skates, skateboards, caster boards, scooters and bicycles. Only the scooters and skateboards are included in this recall.

      Stashables, 5+ years and the number of pieces is printed on the front of the product packaging. Batch number 18112021 is printed on the bottom left corner of both products’ front panel.

      The ramp sets, manufactured in China, were sold online at Amazon.com and Walmart.com from April 2020, through May 2022, for between $30 and $40.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately take the recalled miniature scooters and skateboards away from children and contact BS Interactive to receive free replacement scooters and skateboards, including free shipping.

      Consumers will be asked to submit a photo of the disposed recalled scooters and skateboards.

      Kia again recalls model year 2017-2018 Niro hybrid electric vehicles

      Increased electrical resistance may overheat the rear seats

      Kia Motors America is recalling 27,030 model year 2017-2018 Kia Niro hybrid electric vehicles previously recalled in 2018.

      The Main Relay within the Power Relay Assembly (PRA) may have inadequate connections between its contacts, causing increased electrical resistance, which can overheat the rear seats.

      Overheated rear seats increase the risk of a fire.

      What to do

      Dealers will inspect the PRA and replace either the PRA or the Main Relay -- as necessary -- free of charge.

      Vehicles already repaired under the previous recall will need to have the new remedy completed.

      Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed January 9, 2023.

      Reckitt recalls AirWick air fresheners

      The metal can may corrode or rupture, posing injury and laceration hazards

      Reckitt of Parsippany, N.J., is recalling about 67,000 cans of AirWick Fresh New Day aerosol air fresheners - “Fresh Linen” and “Fresh Waters” scents.

      A single batch of the aerosol air fresheners is missing a corrosion inhibitor, which can lead to corrosion and rupture of the metal can and expulsion of the contents, posing injury and laceration hazards.

      Corrosion of the container may result in leakage, posing a risk of skin and eye irritation upon contact.

      The firm has received five reports including two of the can leaking, two of the can rupturing and one report of the can both leaking and rupturing. No injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves AirWick Fresh New Day aerosol air fresheners in 8-ounce aerosol cans in “Fresh Linen” scent (blue and white can, white cap, green Airwick logo, UPC 0-62338-74734-7) and “Fresh Waters” scent (green and white can, white cap, green Airwick logo, UPC 0-62338-77002-4) with batch code B22077-NJ and date code 18/03/22.

      The batch and date codes are printed on the bottom of the can, and the UPC is printed on the rear label, next to the barcode.

      The air fresheners, manufactured in the U.S., were sold at grocery, mass merchandisers, hardware, home improvement, drug stores and other stores nationwide, including Dollar Tree, True Value and Cumberland Farms from March to September 2022 for about $1.25.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled air fresheners, wrap the can in several layers of paper, and dispose in accordance with state and local requirements. Use caution to avoid skin and eye contact if the can appears to be leaking.

      Reckitt is offering consumers a voucher for a free replacement Fresh New Day aerosol air freshener.

      Consumers should contact Reckitt to submit a photo of the recalled can, along with their contact information and written confirmation that they will dispose of the can to receive a voucher for a free replacement.

      Ford Motor Company is recalling 47,046 model year 2021-2022 Broncos with rearview camera systems and 8-inch screen displays.

      The camera image may still be displayed after vehicle has shifted out of reverse, distracting the driver, and increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Dealers will update the SYNC module software, or the software will be updated through an over-the-air (OTA) update free of charge.

      Notification letters are expected to go into the mail by December 19, 2022.

      Generac reannounces recall of portable generators

      An unlocked handle can pinch consumers’ fingers

      Generac Power Systems of Waukesha, Wisc. is recalling 321,500 Generac and DR 6500 Watt and 8000 Watt portable generators sold in the U.S. and Canada previously recalled in the summer of 2021.

      An unlocked handle can pinch consumers’ fingers against the generator frame when the generator is moved, posing finger amputation and crushing hazards.

      The company has received 37 reports of injuries -- 24 resulting in finger amputations, and five in finger crushing.

      This recall involves 6500-watt and 8000-watt Generac portable generators with unit type numbers XT8000E XT8000EFI, GP6500, GP6500E, GP8000E and HomeLink 6500E portable generators, and DR models PRO 6500M and PRO 6500E portable generators.

      It also involves all of these generators purchased from July 29, 2021, through November 3, 2022, containing a repair kit which included full cover handle guards.

      The generators have gasoline-powered engines that are used to generate electricity for use as backup power.

      The portable generators have two-wheels and a single, U-shaped, two-grip, flip-up pin-lock handle to help move the generator.

      Only the generators listed here are included in this recall.

      The unit type is identified on the front of the product, and the model and serial numbers are printed on a label on the product.

      Consumers may also check specific unit type, model number, and serial number location information at www.generac.com/service-support/product-support-lookup.

      The generators, manufactured in the U.S. and China, were sold at major home improvement and hardware stores nationwide and online, including Ace Hardware, Amazon, Blain’s Farm & Fleet, City Electric Supply, Costco, Do it Best, Fastenal, Home Depot, Lowe’s Stores, Napa Auto Parts, Northern Tool & Equipment, Orgill, Power Equipment Direct, Ravitsky Bros., True Value, and W.W. Grainger from June 2013, through June 2021, for between $790 and $1,480.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled portable generators, unless the locking pin has been inserted to secure the handle in place before and after moving the generator, and contact Generac for a free repair kit consisting of a set of spacers to move the handle away from the frame, eliminating the pinch point.

      Customers who had responded to the original recall will automatically be sent a new kit.

      Chrysler recalls Jeep Wrangler PHEVs

      The high voltage battery pack assembly's 200-amp fuse may fail

      Chrysler is recalling 13,722 model year 2022-2023 Jeep Wrangler Plug-In Hybrid Electric (PHEV) vehicles.

      The high voltage (HV) battery pack assembly was built with incorrect fasteners to secure the 200-amp fuse, which can generate excessive heat.

      This may cause the fuse to fail and result in a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Dealers will inspect and replace the HV battery fuse as necessary. Additionally, they will also inspect the battery assembly for damage and replace it if necessary. Repairs will be performed free of charge.

      Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 2, 2022.

      Mockingbird recalls 149,000 Single-to-Double Strollers

      Mockingbird of New York is recalling about 149,000 Mockingbird Single-to-Double Strollers.

      The lower side of the stroller frame can crack, posing a fall risk to children in the stroller.

      Mockingbird has received 138 reports of cracks in the frame, including eight injuries involving cuts, scratches or bruising to kids in the strollers.

      This recall involves Mockingbird Single-to-Double Strollers made of aluminum, and are black or silver.

      The seats are black, and the canopies are available in black, light blue, dark blue, pink and light green.

      The recall includes only Mockingbird Single-to-Double Strollers with a lot number between 20091 and 22602.

      The five-digit lot number can be found on the white product label on the inner left side of the stroller frame near the top of the basket.

      The strollers, manufactured in China, were sold at Target stores nationwide and online at hellomockingbird.com, babylist.com, goodbuygear.com and target.com from March 2020, to September 2022, for between $395 and $450.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled strollers and contact Mockingbird to receive a free frame reinforcement kit, which includes two frame clamps that attach to the sides of the stroller to reinforce the frame.

      The driver's seat may have a stripped or loose bolt at the seat frame height-adjust pivot.

      Because of this the occupant may not be restrained properly in a crash, and run the risk of an injury.

      Dealers will inspect the driver's seat and replace the seat cushion frame -- if necessary -- free of charge.
