    Firehouse Jams recalls uncured bacon marmalade

    The product did not undergo inspection by the Agriculture Department

    Firehouse Jams of Erwinna, Pa., is recalling approximately 3,819 pounds of thermally processed, commercially sterile, uncured bacon marmalade.

    The product was not inspected by the Agriculture Department.

    There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions.

    The Eat This – YUM! – Uncured Bacon Marmalade with Oranges and Balsamic Caramelized Onions,” with use-by dates through April 2024, and establishment number “EST. 47682” inside the USDA mark of inspection, was sold online and shipped to retail locations nationwide.

    What to do

    Customers who purchased the recalled product should not consume it. Instead, they should discard or return it to the place of purchase.

    MWA recalls LUXE+WILLOW heated blankets

    The blanket can overheat if left plugged in and powered on for an extended period

    MWA of New York, N.Y., is recalling about 4,200 LUXE+WILLOW heated blankets.

    The blanket can overheat if left plugged in and powered on for an extended period, posing fire and burn hazards.

    The firm has received three reports of the blankets overheating, including one report of a burn to a consumer’s wrist. One consumer reported seeing flames.

    This recall involves LUXE+WILLOW heated blankets brand name L & W BIO. LUXE+WILLOW and L&W BIO are printed on a label on the blanket. The polyester blanket measures 50 inches by 50 inches and is white with a Sherpa lining.

    The blankets, manufactured in China, were sold at T.J. Maxx, Urban Outfitters, and other stores nationwide from January 2022, through March 2022, for about $40.

    What to do

    Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled electric blanket and contact MWA for a full refund or $50 voucher towards the purchase of another LUXE+WILLOW product.

    Consumers should unplug the electric blanket, cut the electrical cord, and submit a photo of the blanket’s cut cord and labeling on the blanket to the firm at support@luxewillow.com as proof of destruction and to receive the refund or $50 voucher.

    After submitting proof of destruction to the firm, consumers should dispose of the recalled blanket. The firm is contacting all known purchasers directly.

      Loose wiring may cause a fire

      Grand Design RV is recalling 198 model year 2022 Reflection and Transcend travel trailers that come equipped with a 50-amp shore power inlet.

      The power inlet lug bolts may have been manufactured with excessively hard metal, preventing them from being tightened properly and resulting in a loose wiring connection.

      Loose wiring can cause an electrical arc or short, increasing the risk of fire.

      What to do

      Dealers will inspect and replace the power inlet -- as necessary -- free of charge.

      Dollar Tree of Chesapeake, Va., is recalling more than one million hot glue guns sold in the U.S. and Canada.

      The glue gun can malfunction when plugged in, posing fire and burn hazards.

      The firm has received seven reports of electrical malfunctions when using the glue guns, including four reports of fire and one report of skin irritation.

      This recall involves Crafter’s Square Glue Guns that dispense hot glue when plugged into an outlet and the trigger is depressed.

      The plastic glue gun is black with an orange trigger and tip.

      The glue guns have a silver UL listed label located above the handle with “GLUE GUN” and “XY-15302” printed on the label.

      The glue guns, manufactured in China, were sold at Dollar Tree stores nationwide from August 2020, through February 2022; at Family Dollar stores nationwide from January 2022, through February 2022; and online at www.dollartree.com from August 2021, through February 2022, for about $1.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately unplug and stop using the Crafter’s Square Glue Gun and return it to any Dollar Tree or Family Dollar store for a full refund. Online purchasers will be contacted directly with further instructions.

      Best Buy recalls Insignia air fryers and air fryer ovens

      The appliances can overheat, posing fire and burn hazards

      Best Buy Purchasing of Richfield, Minn., is recalling about 772,000 Insignia air fryers and air fryer ovens sold in the U.S. and Canada.

      The air fryers and air fryer ovens can overheat, posing fire and burn hazards.

      The company has received 68 reports from U.S. consumers and 36 reports from Canadian consumers of the air fryers or air fryer ovens catching fire, burning, or melting. That includes seven reports of minor property damage and two reports of injuries, including an injury to a child’s leg.

      This recall involves the Insignia Digital Air Fryers, Insignia Analog Air Fryers, and Insignia Digital Air Fryer Ovens under the model numbers NS-AF32DBK9, NS-AF32MBK9, NS-AF50MBK9, NS-AF53DSS0, NS-AF53MSS0, NS-AF55DBK9, NS-AFO6DBK1, and NS-AFO6DSS1 sold by Best Buy.

      The brand name INSIGNIA is on the top or front of each unit. A rating label on the underside of each unit identifies the brand INSIGNIA and the model number.

      The air fryers and air fryer ovens have cooking chamber capacities ranging from approximately 3.4 to 10 quarts, as well as plastic or plastic and stainless-steel bodies in black and stainless-steel finishes.

      The air fryers and air fryer ovens, manufactured in China, were sold at Best Buy stores nationwide and online at www.bestbuy.com, www.eBay.com, and www.google.com from November 2018, through February 2022, for between $30 and $150.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled air fryers and air fryer ovens and return them to Best Buy for a refund in the form of a credit for use at Best Buy stores or Bestbuy.com.

      Best Buy is contacting all known purchasers directly to arrange returns and provide pre-paid shipping boxes, labels, and return instructions.

      Consumers will receive a credit of $50 or the amount on the purchase receipt if higher. Consumers do not need a purchase receipt to get the $50 credit.

      The packaging of the products is not child-resistant

      Rae Wellness of Minneapolis, Minn., is recalling about 191,200 bottles of Rae Prenatal Capsules and Rae Immunity Capsules.

      The products, which contain iron, are not packaged in child-resistant packaging as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act. This means the products could pose a risk of poisoning if the contents are swallowed by young children.

      No incidents or injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves Rae Wellness Prenatal and Immunity Capsules sold in 60-capsule bottles. The packaging features “Rae” in yellow lettering and “Prenatal” or “Immunity” printed on the label. The bottles have a white continuous thread closure.

      The capsules, manufactured in the U.S., were sold at Target stores nationwide and online at Target.com, ThriveMarket.com, Amazon.com, FabFitFun.com, and StandardDose.com from September 2019, through February 2022, for the Rae Prenatal Capsules and from October 2020, through February 2022, for the Rae Immunity Capsules, for about $15.
