    Maison Terre recalls Organic Goldenseal Root Powder

    The products are contaminated with various microorganisms

    Maison Terre is recalling all lots of Goldenseal Root Powder.

    Laboratory analysis of product samples found the products to be contaminated with various microorganisms including Enterobacter cloacae, Cronobacter sakazakii, Cronobacter dublinensis.

    The firm has received one report of an infant death associated with use of this product on the umbilical cord stump.

    The recalled product, a yellow colored powder that comes in a clear 1-oz plastic bag, was distributed nationwide through Amazon.com from January 1, 2015, to August 4. 2020.

    What to do

    Customers who purchased the recalled product should not consume or apply it, but discard any unused portion. For those customers wanting to return the product for a refund, please contact Maison Terre for a return shipping label.

    Tong Yang recalls Grille Mouldings

    The moulding may affect the vehicle's cruise control

    Tong Yang Industry is recalling 105 Grille Mouldings, part number HD07251MB, sold for aftermarket installation on model year 2019-2020 Honda HR-Vs.

    The grille moulding coating may prevent the radar sensor for the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), located behind the front grille, from functioning properly.

    If the ACC sensor cannot not function properly, the vehicle may accelerate or decelerate inappropriately when using ACC, increasing the risk of a crash.

    What to do

    Tong Yang will notify their distributors and reimburse customers for replacement parts and installation costs.

    The manufacturer has not yet provided a schedule for recall notification.

    Forest River recalls motorhomes with possible electrical issue

    The rear marker lights, brake lights, or turn signals may not function

    Forest River is recalling 1,104 model year 2017-2018 Charleston, model year 2017-2019 Legacy, model year 2017-2020 Berkshire, model year 2017 Coachmen Cross Country, and model year 2017-2020 Sportscoach motorhomes built on certain FCCC XB and XC chassis.

    The vehicles had previously received an inspection-only remedy for an earlier recall.

    The rear mounted Power Distribution Module (PDM) may have been damaged during manufacturing, possibly resulting in the rear marker lights, brake lights, or turn signals not functioning.

    Non-functioning exterior marker lights can increase the risk of a crash.

    What to do

    Forest Rivers will notify owners, and Daimler Trucks dealers will replace the old PDM with a new one free of charge.

    The recall is expected to begin September 27, 2020.

      The products are labeled to contain methanol.

      SG24 of Bolingbroke, Ga., is recalling various SkinGuard24 – All Day Hand Sanitizers.

      The products are labeled to contain methanol, which can result in nausea, vomiting, headache, blurred vision, permanent blindness, seizures, coma, permanent damage to the nervous system or death.

      The firm has not received any reports of adverse events.

      A list of the recalled products, packaged in PET or High-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic bottle or pen and as Individually packaged Towelettes with UPC’s 7935733144725, 79357314703, 7935733147103, 79357314709, may be found here.

      The recalled products were sold nationwide.

      What to do

      Customers who purchased the recalled products should stop using them and return them to place of purchase.

      Duralast brake master cylinders recalled

      Vehicles with the master cylinders may suffer braking malfunctions

      Motor Parts of America (MPA) is recalling Duralast NM4222 and NM55381 brake master cylinders.

      The parts were sold as aftermarket replacement parts for model year 2012-2017 Volkswagen Beetles, model year 2005-2018 Volkswagen Jettas and model year 2007-2010 Volkswagen Jetta GLIs.

      The crimping of the aluminum housing may be insufficient, allowing the master cylinder piston to pop out of the housing.

      If the piston pops out of the master cylinder housing, a complete loss of braking or unintended brake application can occur, increasing the risk of a crash. Owners may initially notice brake fluid leaking onto the vacuum booster, or a change in brake pedal travel and feel.

      What to do

      MPA will notify owners directing them to take the component to an AutoZone store to return the recalled master cylinder for a full refund. Exchanges for replacement master cylinders can occur after October 1, 2020.

      The manufacturer has not yet provided a schedule for recall notification.

      Heartland Recreational Vehicles is recalling 204 model year 2021 Mallard travel trailers.

      The liquid propane (LP) hose and connector may contact the suspension shackle.

      Contact with the shackle can cause premature failure of the LP hose, increasing the risk of a fire in the presence of an ignition source.

      What to do

      Heartland will notify owners, and dealers will relocate the hose to prevent the LP hose/connector from being able to make contact with the shackle.

      Triumph Motorcycle America is recalling 2,224 model year 2019-2020 Street Scrambler and Street Twin motorcycles.

      The wiring harness may have been misrouted, allowing it to contact the lower lug on main frame headstock.

      Contact between the harness and the headstock lug can damage the wire and cause the engine to stall, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Triumph will notify owners, and dealers will apply a new VIN label protector to prevent wiring harness damage, and -- as necessary -- damaged wiring harnesses will be repaired or replaced free of charge.

      Faribault Foods recalls Progresso soup

      The product contains milk and soy, allergens not declared on the label

      Faribault Foods of Faribault, Minn., is recalling approximately 15,134 pounds of Progresso canned soup.

      The product contains milk and soy, allergens not declared on the label, as well as beef and pork, which are not declared.

      In addition, the cans are labeled as chicken noodle soup, but actually contain a meatball and pasta product.

      There are no confirmed reports of adverse reactions.

      The following item, produced on May 26, 2020, is being recalled:

      • 14-oz. cans of “PROGRESSO ORGANIC CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP” with a best by date of “BestByMAY262022” printed on the bottom of the can and a best by date of “09JUN2022” printed on the product case.

      The recalled product, bearing establishment number “EST18826A” printed on the bottom of the can under the best by date, was shipped to retail locations nationwide.

      What to do

      Customers who purchased the recalled product should not consume it, but discard or return it to the place of purchase.

      Forest River is recalling 367 model year 2020-2021 Forest River Forester, Sunseeker, Dynamax Isata, and Coachmen Galleria & Prism motorhomes built on Sprinter Van chassis with swivel seats.

      The wiring harnesses for the front seats may have been routed incorrectly and could become jammed and damaged in the swivel seat frames.

      If the wiring harness is damaged, the side airbag within the seat may deploy inadvertently or not deploy as designed in a crash, increasing the risk of injury to occupants.

      What to do

      Forest River will notify owners, and Sprinter dealers will inspect the wire harness routing for both front seats and will repair the wiring and add clips or cable ties -- as needed -- free of charge.

      The recalled product, packaged in 16-oz boxes with a band around the box containing nutrition and ingredient information and the code AC31 on the bottom of the boxes, was sold in Lund’s and Byerly’s grocery stores in Minnesota from May 21, 2020 through August 5, 2020.

      BMW of North America is recalling 16,926 model year 2009-2011 K1300 (S, GT), model year 2010-2011 S1000 RR, model year 2005-2011 R1200 (GS, GS Adventure, R, RT, S, ST), model year 2006-2010 HP2 (Enduro, Megamoto, Sport), model year 2005-2008 K1200 (R, R Sport, S, GT), and model year 2012 K1600 (GT, GTL) motorcycles that were repaired under a recall in 2013.

      This recall involves the fuel pump, and also the auxiliary fuel pump as applicable.

      Pier 1 Imports of Fort Worth, Texas, is recalling about 30,810 three-wick Halloween candles.

      The candle’s high flames can ignite the surface of the wax, posing fire and burn hazards.

      The firm has received seven reports involving high flames with the three-wick Halloween candles, including one incident resulting in a minor burn injury and one report of minor property damage.

      This recall involves Pier 1 Imports’ three-wick Halloween candles in the scents ‘Scary Black Cherry’ and ‘Death by Chocolate.’

      The SKU for candles in the scent Scary Black Cherry is 4122285, and the SKU for the Death by Chocolate scent is 4122298.

      The SKU number is printed on the bottom label of each candle.

      The candles. Manufactured in Vietnam, were sold at Pier 1 Imports stores nationwide, and online at www.Pier1.com from June 2019, through October 2019, for between $10 and $17.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled candles, cut all three wicks as short as possible to prevent other consumers from being able to use the candle and discard the product in their household trash.

      The brackets can fail to securely surface mount the CPANL LED

      Lithonia Lighting of Conyers, Ga, is recalling about 330,000 CFMK surface mount brackets used with CPANL LEDs.

      The brackets can fail to securely surface mount the CPANL LED and fall unexpectedly, posing a risk of injury from impact.

      The firm has received 24 reports of CPANL LEDs coming loose or falling from the CFMK Bracket, resulting in one injury.

      This recall involves metal CFMK H-Brackets that are screwed into the ceiling and used to surface mount CPANL LED fixtures.

      The bracket was included as an optional mounting accessory with 1x4, 2x4 and 2x2 CPANLs sold by retailers and was available as a separate accessory for CPANL LEDs sold by commercial distributors.

      The brackets, manufactured in China, were sold at Lowe’s Stores and other home improvement stores nationwide and online at Lowes.com from August 2018, through June 2020, for CFMK Brackets included with CPANL LEDs for between $85 and $100, and commercial electrical distributors from January 2019, through June 2020, for CFMK brackets as a separate accessory for commercial CPANL LED applications for about $12.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using CPANL LEDs surface mounted with a CFMK bracket and contact Lithonia Lighting for a free CFMK bracket repair kit. Consumers should prevent people from going into the immediate area under the fixtures until the brackets are repaired.

      BMW of North America (BMW) is recalling 9,393 model year 2019-2020 R 1250 GS, GS Adventure & R 1250 RT, and model year 2020 S 1000 RR & S 1000 XR motorcycles.

      The front brake calipers may leak brake fluid when parked.

      Over time, a leak can reduce the amount of brake fluid in the reservoir. Low volume could affect brake performance, increasing the risk of crash.
