My dog loves this food, his coat is softer, he is very active and happy, I'm so glad I found this company. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is I find it inconsistent the weight of each bag. Sometimes it's over 175 grams, sometimes it's under. It should always be the same but you can see some of the bags are huge and some are not. That is really the only complaint I have. I don't want to feed him anything else, this is the best food for him. And he loves it so much.

My dog is 9 years old and spent most of those 9 years vomiting at least once a week. I spent a huge amount of time and money on vet visits and tests, everything was inconclusive. The vet put her on a Rx food that she hated. Her muscle was wasting away while her belly was always bloated. She had no stamina for long walks and had lost her playful energy.

I finally started making her homemade fresh food. She improved a lot and liked the food but it was a huge time investment and it's tricky to get their nutrients exactly right. I gave Nom Nom a shot and was not expecting much, since other fresh food made her vomit. However, I am happy to report my dog has been on NomNom for 3 months with no vomiting! She even does a little jump every time I bring her food bowl over. She loves this food! Her coat has gotten really silky and soft and she has the energy to wrestle our wild puppy.

I love giving my dogs healthy alternatives to kibble, and they seem to really like this food for the most part. My picky dog is a fan of the chicken flavor but won't eat the other flavors. Here are some suggestions for improvement:

    * Packaging - all of the plastic/waste is upsetting, and the food itself is hard to open and ends up getting everywhere. The pull here flap never actually works for me, so I have to cut it open.

    * Tailored diets - would love to see food for dogs with health issues - my dog is supposed to be on a renal diet but refuses to eat any of the specific foods for that.

I appreciate the timely delivery and the recyclable shipment packaging. The food is eagerly eaten by my spaniel, eaten but with a bit less enthusiasm by my malamute/Lab mix. I find the plastic packaging that the meals come in to be somewhat awkward to open and quite messy, and I’ve noticed inconsistent amounts in various pouches. I have noticed that my malamute/Lab seems to be shedding less of his undercoat, which is great. Overall I am pleased with my switch to NomNom but will keep monitoring Baloo’s appetite for it.

I have tried almost all of the dog food delivery companies and Nom Nom is by far the best quality. It looks like real human grade food and not just frozen mush shoved into a container. I like how the portions are individually packaged and I don’t have to cut the portion in half for two feedings a day. The only complaint is that sometimes to pull corner on the package doesn’t open it and I have to cut it open with a knife. My dog loves it and she has shiny coat and sheds less.

Most importantly, my fussy dog currently enjoys the various recipes. I also like that the food comes in larger pieces, meaning that the individual ingredients are easily discernible at a glance. However, the packaging is awful. The individual food packages are clearly bound together with elastics before they are frozen, meaning that each individual package is misshapen. This makes the packages very difficult to store in a normal sized freezer, as they end up taking up much more space than they would if frozen in uniform shapes. Being bound tightly with elastics pre-freezing also seems to make the packages prone to leaks, and I often end up with a mess as I thaw them. Individual flat-freezing would hugely improve the consumer experience.

Inconsistency with between orders, last batch of chicken had yellow color (maybe like mustard or tumeric). The turkey has globs in it kinda like meat and cartilage balls. It’s was better when I first started but now I’m looking to switch dog food because I’m not satisfied with Nom nom anymore.

I Want to know ph% of food. Kept referring me to their site. Wouldn’t answer. Finally told me couldn’t answer. I am going to cancel my subscription. I asked more than once. Why they can’t answer? It's important too since my dogs urine test came back 9%.

I started my dog on Nom Nom in 2021 and was mostly happy with the product. We stopped for a while because he seemed to lose interest and restarted in late 2022. We began noticing black potatoes in Oct or Nov. 2022. I thought it may have been some spots like potatoes can get, however when you see it in every package and nearly every potato then it’s more than spots. Also today we noticed the black was on the beef that was touching those potatoes too. No wonder my dog hasn’t been wanting to eat this food! I’ve had to buy even more things to try and entice him to eat this expensive food! I was always picking out the black potatoes and regret not calling the company sooner.

I called them today to complain and then saw some others saying the same thing. Also my dog has had intermittent vomiting and diarrhea that has the vet perplexed. I am very disappointed that I pay for expensive food thinking I’m doing the best for my dog, only to find out that I’m wasting my money. I have canceled my subscription and now have to figure out what to feed him.

Nom Nom is the closest thing to dog food that my dog will eat. She is VERY picky and will often go 2 or 3 days without eating-even the Nom Nom. I have tried all the tips, but the tips are written by people not a persnickety 8 pound Chihuahua with a mind of her own. With all that said Nom Nom is a life saver in that at least she is eating something good and good for her.
