Fantastic food; comes in a variety of types from dry, wet and raw grain-free diets. I currently feed fish based and rabbit based wet and raw diet from this brand. One cat is 3 years old (male) and the other is 2 years old (female). Both cats have done exceptionally well on this brand of food. Hairballs are less frequent (2xs a year max), healthy weights, great energy, beautiful coats, no blockages or urinary issues. Both kitties have had exceptional bills of health from their vet and the vet attributes this to their diet.

My 22 year old cat was looking pretty bad. I decided to change her wet food and wanted something more nutritious. I saw Nature's Variety wet food without meat by-products. In days, I saw this beautiful transformation in my little frail cat. Her coat got shiny and she gained some weight although she only weighs about 4 pounds.

Nature's Variety Cat Food expert review by Dr. Ken Tudor

As a leader in the raw pet food category, Nature's Variety takes a holistic view on pet care. They create food as close to what nature intended as possible.

    • Made in America: Given the issues plaguing pet food companies that manufacture overseas, it is comforting to know this company makes its food in Lincoln, Nebraska.

    • Wet and dry food options: Nature's Variety offers premium wet and dry food options to tempt even the pickiest eater.

    • Raw food diet: Nature's Variety offers a carefully formulated raw food diet that is just as easy to serve as traditional kibble.

    • Limited ingredient formulas: Nature’s Variety limited ingredient rabbit relies on a single protein and limited starch from tapioca and peas. This is a great choice for cats with food allergies.

    • Weight management formula: To help cats stay healthy, Nature’s Variety offers two different weight management options.

    • Best for: Active kittens, picky cats and inactive cats
