To Whom It May Concern, I brought home a sweet Havanese puppy named Peanut from a local breeder who had been breeding for over 30 years. We instantly fell in love with him. Although, I was initially unsure about getting pet insurance, I ultimately decided to move forward with Healthy Paws Pet Insurance and I’m so glad I did!

I have had Healthy Paws Insurance for almost 15 years on 3 dogs. Prior to that I had two different dog insurance companies that I insured my animals with, but something was missing so I decided to research which pet insurance companies are the best overall and everything pointed to Healthy Paws. I am grateful that I found this company to give me peace of mind if something ever happens to one of our precious family members. In 2015 I was told I needed to see a cancer specialist for my German Shepherd Bruno because it was diagnosed with Vessel Cancer. After seeing the specialist, I was told that the costs to try cure the cancer would be over $11K. I knew I had Healthy Paws on my side, and I did! My dog made it through all the Chemo appointments (10) and survived another 6.5 years with us. My entire cost for the treatments was about $2K. I thought for sure the insurance company would cancel Bruno, but they never did.

We've been using Healthy Paws since we had our elderly cat and had to visit the vet often in her really late years and that adds up really quick. Then we started to have difficult discussions with our vet about treatments, procedures, and costs. After she passed away we got a couple of kittens a few months later and decided that we should have insurance for them so we don't run into the same financial issues or difficult decisions down the road. Our vet at the time also recommended it, and noted that usually if you get insurance for them when they're young you'll have a good rate, and she also recommended Healthy Paws.

We have had Healthy Paws from before our dog was one and she is now over 10 years old. During a regular check-up her blood work came back irregular which led to the need for an ultrasound. Three masses were found one being in her small intestine causing it to invert into itself which would need surgery. She was anemic and they were worried it was cancer.

Our almost 8 1/2 year old Labrador retriever, Jeff **, has been insured with Healthy Paws pet insurance since 2021. I just want to share our wonderful experience with our first claim with them during one of Jeff’s most challenging health events he has ever had to go through. He had a GI bleed of undetermined etiology on March 15th, 2023 and spent 6 days at Blue Pearl Animal Hospital in Southfield, Michigan and was in critical care for the first four nights, unable to eat or drink anything on his own. He completely relied on the hospital staff for his care and ultimate survival. He has since recovered 100% and we couldn't be happier. Our boy is family and we love him very much.

My pup recently had TPLO surgery. Not only did Healthy Paws process the claim very quickly, but they also reached out to check on her health! It was so easy to navigate the claims process and the added personal touch was icing on the cake. I am so grateful for this insurance coverage.

The website and application are very easy to use. There is good coverage of unexpected expenses. They seem to truly care about the well being of my pet. There are also quick to respond to submissions or questions and very easy to communicate with. Overall positive things to say about the pet insurance. They reached out after a surgery and expressed concern. Didn't need, but nice that they did.

We are so grateful for the coverage that Healthy Paws has provided for our amazing dog, Wally. We didn't know what was wrong with him but he was limping and stiff and lethargic, and it was getting worse. It turns out the vet had to do lots of (expensive) testing but they found out that he had TWO tick-borne illnesses! We would never have known if we hadn't been able to get the blood tests. Healthy Paws helped cover the costs, the process is so easy via the app, and Wally is already feeling tons better and on the road to recover and returning to his sweet silly self.
