I adopted a chihuahua mix last year from a shelter. She was a finicky eater so I tried different brands until I came across one she liked. She really liked the incredibites, so I decided to buy more but accidentally bought the infusions. She didn't like it as much but ate it and suddenly developed gastrointestinal issues, gas, diarrhea, and vomiting after a few days of eating the Beneful Infusions.

I had to take her to the vet and was told Beneful Infusions is a terrible choice because it is infused with seed oil, which is toxic to both people and animals and certainly could cause inflammation and gastrointestinal issues, including pancreatitis. So I looked online and found numerous alarming health complaints about Beneful products. Please do not feed your dog this food. I am throwing it out. I came here to post a complaint and to warn other dog owners because I would not want them to experience the hell I watched my poor dog endure the past few days from this product. My vet bill was $275 today for cerenia and fluids, and I was told if she vomits again in 24 hours, take her to emergency.

    Chloe
    Dog 1
DOB 11/22/2014 (She was a rescue, so exact birthdate isn't known.)
    Wirehaired terrier mix.
    12 lbs

Started 8/29 - Into 8/30 with vomiting, then she seemed ok. We feed them wet food at dinner. So again fed her on 8/30 then 8/30-8/31 she was vomiting a lot, everywhere. While all this was going on my husband said our other dog Blu didn't seem like herself. I thought she was just anxious because of the commotion, he also said he thought it was the food because of the way her vomit looked. We called the emergency vet and brought her in on 8/31. Then ran bloodwork, did xrays and gave her medications and fluids. The vet put her on a bland diet, I was making them homemade food. (Brown rice, dog pumpkin and boiled chicken.). Everything with both dogs was good, until 9/11/25-9/12/25.

    Blu - Dog 2
DOB 5/29/2018 (She was a rescue, so exact birthdate isn't known.)
    Dachshund
    16 lbs.

On 9/11 we started Blu back on the Beneful wet food. 9/11 -9/12 She had vomited a few tiny piles of mostly water with a bit of food. 9/12 Fed her at dinner the Beneful Turkey again, 9/12-9/13 We woke up to vomit (looked the same as my dog's Chloe's} and diarrhea with blood everywhere, it was terrifying. She was throwing up blood tinged liquid, and pooping straight blood. The vet had to keep her overnight to monitor her, she needed an IV, & different meds. The scariest thing was when they asked us if she coded did we want them to do CPR. She was released 0n 9/14 on a prescription diet (Hills Canine i/d chicken wet food). Both dogs were fine before this case of dog food. As I told you before we have been using this wet food for a few years and the dry for many years (the weight control). The fact that Blu got violently sick after feeding her food just like Chloe it is too much of a coincidence. Please test this lot before a dog dies.

I have been feeding my 3 dogs Beneful Dog food and I didn't realize that it up making my dogs sick. I thought that it was from the garden flowers. But I lost two Shih Tzu and I now have my York Terrier who has the same symptoms that of my other two dogs who died. We have a huge safe yard and we don't walk the dogs outside of the yard. Vomiting and fevers, seizures and disfiguring of the legs for all of my dogs. I switched dog foods. Now my 1 dog eats Blue Mountain Senior small dog. She is doing well after the switch and cleansing of her gut.

My dog has been vomiting and has had a upset stomach for two days now. I feed her daily portions like 1/3 cup since she’s an inside dog. However she spit up her food. I thought I gave her too much. It was white and slimy with brown discolored food my dog vomited up. I gave her a smaller amount feeling the first amount was too much and she did the same. We’ve been up all night for the last two days for several hours. I can hear her stomach churning and making unusual sounds. She tried to eat grass often throughout the early morning to ease her stomach (from 1:00 am to 4:00 am. My dog constantly kept going outside to try potty/poopy) only to urinate. Eventually she pooped later in the morning. This morning she has vomited three times. The vomit is dark brown and has a foul odor. 7/15/25.

Terrible. Gave 5 month puppy diarrhea. Didn’t realize first time but gave it again when we were out of Rachael Ray and she was up at 4 am with terrible runs. Do not use this product. Checked reviews and saw it caused same in many many dogs.

I gave my dog Beneful since November 2024, the last batch of Beneful I bought it in Publix in Miami Beach, Collins and 69th street last week on February 10th, 2025. Since I bought Beneful a week ago and gave to my dog, she is having nonstop diarrhea. I waited a week and still diarrhea didn't stop. If I get a confirmation of Beneful is damaging my dog I will file a lawsuit agsinst Purina and also Publix for selling a toxic product to dogs instead of taking it out of the counters.

My dog recently started eating their wet food and has developed the most horrendous cysts! No other change to diet or exercise. This dog has been healthy with no issues or sick vet visits until we started Beneful IncrediBites. My dog is miserable even on meds and so are we!

Dog is 10 years old. Otherwise healthy. Feeding it Beneful for the last year. Started to have anal gland leakage, diarrhea, whiteish foul smelling feces, discolored and lethargy. Took her to vet multiple times. Had her on 2 courses of **. Continued to have issues. Recently was considering putting dog down after being unable to resolve issues with vet. As a last resort I switched her food brand after reading about the Beneful issues and the symptoms subsided over a week's time. It's poison!

I was buying Beneful dog food for my Maltese. He started having seizures from the RED DYE in the dog food. The red dye was always around his mouth when he finished eating it. Of course he is a white dog, so the red dye was very noticeable. Beneful had hundreds of complaints and a class action lawsuit. If you want your dog to live, do not buy or feed your dog any food from Beneful.
