DO NOT BUY!! SCAM ALERT!!! I pre ordered this calendar in October. They did not ship before December 1st so I tried to cancel (after contacting customer service multiple times). Then they ignored the cancelation and shipped it anyways and now it's not arriving until mid December. No offer of refund or discount despite the fault being entirely on them! DO NOT BUY!
I had previously had a Glossybox subscription (even bought a couple as gifts) and had enjoyed the products and selection immensely. I have had my current subscription since Sept '21 and every single month the value and quality of the products decline. I feel like they are just throwing boxes together with the cheapest crap they can find! And gone are the days of full sized products... Now it is the cheapest, smallest sample sizes I feel like they can find. No longer even close to being worth the monthly cost. I'm going back to Ipsy... Sorry Glossybox.. No more of my hard earned money for your crappy products.

In November 2021 I saw the Glossybox promotion with a trio of beauty boxes, so I asked my husband to get it for me as a Christmas gift. He did - and we have the receipts. In April 2022, I have yet to receive it. They NEVER contact me about this missing order. When I inquire, they tell me it's out of stock and I can cancel the order. What's crazy though is that they still have this offer available on their website!!! https://www.glossybox.com/glossybox-usa-2021-black-friday-holiday-skincare-trio/13155502.html. Order it. It will never come. Your money just disappears. They have no customer service to speak of and are apparently hoping that everyone who ordered that promotion will just forget about it.
I ordered 2 boxes which were shipped to wrong address. Absolutely no help from customer service, refuses to resend or refund. Total waste of money. They keep closing the ticket without a resolve. Avoid!
I am completely distraught trying to get help with Glossybox customer service and relations team. I ordered 2 advent calendar on 20th September 2021 as a presents for someone and I still have not received one of calanders almost 3 months later. We are now well into December and the product has lost its value and meaning now. I have been back and forth with their agents who have not provided any help. They have repeatedly told me it is an “active order” and there is nothing they can do. I have also being told that it would be delivered on 26th December day after last day of advent!! I have asked several times for a refund and they will not give me a refund. My order has never arrived and is not sorted. I am disgusted and let down immensely. I am being left out of pocket before Christmas and feel they have just stolen my hard earned money. This company is a sham
I ordered on the Black Friday sale - they claim there was an “error” on the deals but didn’t offer a resolution. After messaging them reminding them of the laws, they kept saying we will get back to you in 72HRS. During this time I spoke to multiple people….some very rude. They offered me £5 on my £33 order. Fast forward 4 days - I only received part of my order. Out of 5 boxes 4 was the exact same - the 5th has to products from the other 4 boxes. I’m still missing 3 boxes and extremely annoyed! They’ve sent me summer boxes with after sun in the winter. Poor customer service, rude staff and inadequate boxes to put it in a nutshell.
This company is a scam. They lure you in with false advertising saying you can cancel at any time. Then they lock you into 12 months. They offer no solutions and won't even give you a smaller subscription. They do not care about their customers. Nowhere does it offer you a different subscription plan as they advertise. When you contact customer service you get the same copy and paste reply over and over.
GLOSSYBOX not worth the money or hassle. I placed my first order at the end of September to try one of these boxes for a while to see if they were good value. Within three days of my first order I have already been charged £13.25 for my second box, when I hadn't even received my first box to decide whether I thought this was worth the money and wanted to continue. Two days before charging me, not one month! I have asked for an explanation and had no reply. Be warned you can NOT cancel from your account but have to call OR send a message via their portal. Why can you not send an email Glossybox?
Well my box has finally arrived and the products are not good either. Glossybox state the value is worth over £50. I consider the price was too much for what you get and not worth the money... This is a breakdown of what I received and its value if I had bought separately online. AHAVA mineral shower gel 25 ml £2.70. Sphia + mabelle eyeshadow £5. The eye shadow pallete I would never use; totally the wrong colours. Feel free eye contour cream 20 ml £5. Dwtn paris blush 15 ml £5 417. SERENITY LEGEND bath salt 100g £5.50. So while it is worth more than £13.25, it is certainly not worth 50 and I would probably use only 2 or 3 of the products. Not worth continuing. This is where it will be interesting to see how easy it is to cancel; I have seen many people complain about being charged when they have asked to cancel their subscription and receiving no reply.
This company and I didn't resolve anything. I'm paying for these boxes until the year is over. I still want people to learn from my experience and be careful about the terms and conditions of this company (which are not clear at check out) if they decide to buy anything from them.
Be very careful when signing up for this subscription box. I got interested when they had that ‘$1 box deal’. Yes, your first box will be $1 dollar but you will be locked in for a 12-month subscription that you can’t cancel and if you try, they will threaten you with taking legal action and hiring debt collectors if you don’t pay or try to cancel their payments. Can they do it? Yes, they can! Read their terms and conditions page, because this information isn't provided at the checkout page before you pay.
Also, make sure to use Paypal so you have control over the automatic payments you make and they can’t try to take more of your money.
I learned this the hard way, if you can, try to stay away from this company and go for subscriptions like FabFitFun where the value of the box is way higher than the cost of the subscription, and most importantly, the company is upfront about their fees and what you’re truly signing up for.
Unfortunately the customer service lets them down. The boxes are good and the right price per month, but I cancelled my subscription after the 1st box due to financial reasons. They then took money out of my account on the 2nd month, so I just assumed I cancelled it too late, but then taking money out of my account on the third month - that was not acceptable! Unfortunately, you can't call someone to discuss this with you have to send messages and from the replies I am receiving, no one is fully reading my messages.
I tell them I have cancelled the subscription and that I only have two email addresses and neither has a subscription with them. I thought that finally I had gotten through to someone that understood, and they confirmed that my subscription was cancelled, yet did not offer a refund of the money they took as there was a box on it way. So I had to accept the box, but when it arrived the box was damaged as the can of drink that they had put in this month's subscription had burst and ruined all the products in the box. I had to again message someone regarding this, and nearly a whole month later from them taking the money out of my account, I am still nowhere further!
They keep asking for an order number, which I don't have as I cancelled my subscription. They keep asking for other email addresses and other contact information but still can't find any information. To which I reply, it's because I cancelled the subscription!!!! Seriously why can't you call and talk to a human being! It takes them 24 hrs to reply to your message, you then have to reply back which takes them another 24 hrs to read and reply to you! So to date I still don't have my subscription money back, nor do I have a box as compensation as it's ruined by the burst can.
