name northlane.com/ATT, to find there were others with the same issue, stating no option I choose would get any results. Everyone on that forum believe the monies is being used to float through the TDS TELECOM, with the hope we will just forget about our refund.

The salesman gives you the sales pitch and the bottom line of the price per month. You get a bill 2 and 1/2 times the quoted price and you are SOL when you call AT&T. BUYER BEWARE! YOUR LIFE WILL BE A LEAVING HELL IF YOU SIGN ON THE DOTTED LINE WITH AT&T!

The telemarketer pushing AT&T streaming tv internet bundle was pushy, hard sell and most of what he said was untrue. However before I had a chance to say yes or no the guy billed my debit card for three hundred dollars that I never authorized. Upon seeing - I immediately called the bank, put a stop pay on the account and had a different number issued. The banker was all too familiar with streaming tv and deceptiveness of salespeople.
Most internet speeds with DISH, AT&T or numerous other companies are slow. Basically because unlike a cable you are dealing with a signal sent from some device attached to your house. Secondly, DIRECTV is very expensive when you look at what you are getting dollar per dollar. There are also rate increases. To get them to come down on price is like dickering with a used car salesman trying to sell you a clunker and making it sound like this old car ready to fall apart is a great deal. If streaming was such a good deal there would be no need for high pressure to buy or outright lying about the product. Some people do not have many options if they live in areas where there is no cable. But still streaming is very very expensive for what you are getting.
My advice, don't be intimidated, shop around, ask questions and don't sign any type of contract unless you have done your homework. The net is a good place to start. Goggle the pros and cons + the price. Most of this gimmick stuff is expensive and cancelling is an exercise in ennui. In many cases you have to contact your bank and put a stop pay on the account. If you don't chances are you will still be billed even though you cancelled the service.

I set up a new account with AT&T TV now and I was promised they would refund the 30 dollars that were for a hold on my 5-day trial and would be refunded back to me and never was. So I got into the overview of my account and it showed that it was set up to be due on February the 26th of 2022 on a Saturday and I waited all day until 6 when it was supposed to be taken out and never was. Then on the 28th of February Monday of 2022, the date was changed on it for March the 28th due date and I get a notice saying they tried to take it out and couldn't and to change my payment information.
I was confused and shocked. So I go to contact us and then clicked on the chat feature. No chat window popped up so I had to sign back out and use the feature before signing in that was at the side. I had to sign back in from there to chat. Not convenient when you need to contact someone about an issue. Anyway, I told them what happen and they told me a few things to do and I got nowhere so they send me off to customer service and they reviewed my chat messages to the other agent and told me I had to call. I told them I had a hearing impairment and couldn't. So I let my son call and all we got was a run around with some questions and at the last minute, they were lying saying that they were getting dropped calls to get rid of us and not to cancel my service with them.
All I wanted them is to cancel service and not take money out of my card from the autopay. I got nowhere so I told them I'm cutting off my debit card and getting a new one thanks to them I had to go to my bank to do that and start all over with my new card. Poor customer service, disrespectful agents, and greedy corporations that have no integrity and honesty. I'll have to give it all a zero rating but a one-star is the only option. I had no issues with them in the past until now. I'll never go back to At&t with any service and I do not advise anyone to go to them to save them unnecessary hassle and their worth and their money is better used elsewhere.

This was my first time ever using streaming devices. I believe these devices that I'm using is very creative. Highly overly accounted for for much needed for the future ahead and should've been in use many years ago. I will recommend these services to all, especially those who are catching up with technology.

About August 2019 we visited an AT&T store to sign up for telephone/Internet/TV after moving from California in July 2019. During the signup process a streaming service ATTTVNOW was included in what we understood was "the package". There was no discussion about a separate charge in addition to the telephone/Internet/TV service. About 30 days or less we canceled service with AT&T and thought all service was then canceled. Due to the moving process and numerous bills, we did not check our credit card bill for some time.
After trying to figure out what the reoccurring charge was about and the email/password used in the August 2019 sign up in the AT&T office, a chat was initiated with ATTTVNOW about 30 December 2020. I contacted the local AT&T office where “the package” was signed; they told me they only sign up people for ATTTVNOW and that I would have to contact ATTTVNOW for any problems. Turns out the only way to contact those people is Internet Chat and log in.
In the very first contact/chat with ATTTVNOW’s customer service, I was promised a full refund since I never used the streaming service and I canceled my service with AT&T. I have several written transcripts of the transactions provided by them promising my refund. The best that was received is a partial refund not a full refund as promised in several chats. About 5 times I was able to speak with a real person when I called AT&T customer service but I could never speak with someone at ATTTVNOW. After explaining in detail the problem I was told several times I would get a full refund and a two times that the best I would receive is a partial.
In my last verbal about 19 April 2021, I was told only partial refund and her supervisor would call me back. The callback never happened. During the call an AT&T employee told me she understood my feeling since she was recently SCAMMED. When I asked her "so this is a scam" she stopped talking. I am still owed $510 to complete my full refund.

Series of contacts for new contract at expiration of old one. Chat agents said wait for the last four days to arrange new, but then switched to requiring me to voice phone on last day only for any dealing whatsoever. Then email on next to last day inviting me to deal then. Site chat agent then wrote that he liked me and was taking very long time to research for best deal, but ended up providing minimal details seeming to suggest that it was renewal of same deal at similar price, but actual offer would be emailed to me later before long, so my request for something less in coverage and cost was refused without actually admitting it. So, not first experience of psychological manipulation. I let it happen to get an offer without a month of full charges after end of contract, as happened last time.

AT&T runs the old bait and switch on its customers. What you sign up for is never what you’ll get. The proof is shown in my bill. I’ll start with the beginning DTV. Service for the Latino package $57.44 a month. After two months the amount fluctuated $110.69, $61.44, $70.64. I’d spend a lot of time getting my statements correct. AT&T TV wifi and phone. I was told I’d pay a bundle price $110 for two years (read part 1). The rep who told me I’d been scammed was right. Mind you I never had service installed but I did receive separate bills: Internet and phone total $87.98, $49.99 internet...my old phone bill was $4.45 for a landline and now they’re charging me $37.99 for landline? Not including cable service...so much more than the bundle price I was quoted of $110. The price quoted to keep DTV and add internet $97.99 month. Received a bill for $217.98 what a scam!
I have not had any type of service from AT&T since end of August. I haven’t been able to resolve these issues. AT&T has no problem sending bills and are on you to collect their money while they do nothing to address or correct the scam. Their tactics are unethical! From the bait and switch tactics, having one phone number for several different companies is a serious problem for consumers. (Most people have no idea AT&T is divided into separate businesses.) I blame AT&T for the lies and confusion. I have spoken to 12 customer service reps. 11 out of 12 had lied to me. Therefore it is evident AT&T promotes unethical tactics. As a consumer I find this unacceptable.

I paid for 6 months of the service and never used it once. That truth (that I never used the service) was verified by 2 of their customer service reps I managed to reach from a general AT&T customer service line. There is no customer service for AT&T TV NOW so I had to waste hours of my life calling the AT&T general service number to get someone to listen and try to refund me for services I never used. It didn't help. There is a chat link, but after many times trying, the link only connected me to customer service one time. The issue was still not resolved. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

This is worst decision I ever made was go get ATT Now. Customer Service is the worst, they change your plans without letting you know. You have to talk to them through chat. You can never talk to some live. I regret switching to them. If you think about going to att now DON’T!!!! You better off getting a contract or doing Sling TV or Hulu.
