I haven't bought this ice cream in years, but fondly remember their COFFEE ice cream as my favorite. Yesterday grabbed a 2 for 1 sale at a Publix grocery store in Florida. Very expensive, so was pleased to get the sale price. No plain COFFEE available, just COFFEE with Chocolate Chips. Sounded good. Dived in last night and immediately noticed 2 things; barely a coffee flavor,, more like plain vanilla. The chocolate chips were like biting into plastic with no melt on the tongue. And the creaminess is gone. The paragraph of "ingredients" alarmed me. Will never buy again. Boohoo.

Taste is like flour, very bitter, very sweet, I had a headache from too much sugar. Too expensive for extremely cheap so called ice cream. :))) My stomach ache, and it like somebody made an experiment on us....buy buy is perfect...and unfortunately tastes like absolutely the worst expired ice cream.

What the hell happened to Haagen-Dazs? It went from one of the best to one of the worst! The ice cream is not creamy anymore and it seems like it’s made in layers not smooth. I’ve tried their cones and their pints and it’s terrible.

Used to love the Dulce de leche until this last purchase. Seemed like it had been thawed and re froze. Had no taste and no caramel in it. Email to the company was "We don't believe you bought 4 tiny cups of it so we won't send you a refund except for one." Was very disappointed in the response from them. Plenty of other choices out there. Would not recommend them.

New pistachio recipe is awful. Tastes more like a watered-down version of butter pecan with pistachios in it. I just loved the old recipe and bought it weekly. Will not buy another container of the “new recipe”.

There is no chocolate in my white chocolate raspberry truffle ice cream. Usually there are chunks of chocolate. Very disappointing. And seeing so many others with similar issues is concerning. Where is the quality control?

Severe allergic reaction to product. Bought a pint. Was supposed to be vanilla with cherries. Container had black cherry ice cream in it. Was hospitalized for treatment. Notified company, They did not show concern or get back to me following my complaint. Did not even offer to assist with hospital bills. My doctor and I believe ice cream was tampered with or tainted.

Bought a tub of coffee ice cream (what used to be a pint) for 6.99 and was extremely disappointed. The product was chalky and light (not thick and creamy) with an unpleasant aftertaste. I don't know what's going on, but after years of being a loyal customer, I've had it. No more Häagen-Dazs for me! Ice cream in general has dropped in quality in the past three years or so, and for a minute it seemed Häagen-Dazs was holding the line. I guess that's over.

I rate some of the ice cream flavors by Häagen-Dazs as the best I've had. So I bought their pistachio ice cream and was in for a huge disappointment. I tried the best pistachio ice cream internationally made from real pistachios and ingredients. Häagen-Dazs' pistachio ice cream is more like vanilla plain ice cream with a few tiny bits of pistachios. I made pistachio ice cream myself and it is many folds better than Häagen-Dazs'. It's also way overpriced just for vanilla and bits of pistachios.

These ice cream bars were my mother's favorite treat. So I bought a box remembering the thick chocolate and the rich, creamy ice cream, despite the cost. The quality of these bars is now no better than the cheaper brands. Watery/icy ice-cream and thin tasteless chocolate coating. These are not my Haagen-Dazs, nor my mother's. I will never buy any Haagen-Dazs product again. (I've discovered how many times ownership has changed hands and this explains a lot.) Goodbye Häagen-Dazs. I'm glad my mother doesn't know about this.

Haagen-Dazs has been my favorite ice cream for 20 years. My favorite flavor has been cookies and cream. I have recently been monitoring my calories to stay the same weight. Just last year, Haagen-Dazs cookies and cream said in the nutrition label, that for every 1/2 cup there’s 250 calories. I was SO looking forward to this summer to have this ice cream again regularly. I noticed the container got a new look then looked at the nutrition label at the back and noticed the calories went up to 380 calories for just 3/4 of a cup! Plus everything else on the label went up too! Like, who just wants to eat 3/4 of a cup of delicious ice cream? The flavors still ok but unfortunately, I will have to find another brand of ice cream with lower calories and have HD just once a month or even more rarely... my weight and health matter too much to me. What a wrinkle in the summer this year. :(

I just purchased a pint of Haagen-Dazs chocolate peanut butter ice cream. There was absolutely zero peanut butter. Zero, zero, zero. Plain chocolate. As mentioned in other reviews, this was an expensive waste. This company should be thoroughly investigated for mislabeling, fraud, or something similar.

There is a marked decline in quality, texture and flavor. Either the ratio of ingredients or the amount of aeration have changed (or both). It's no longer the superior confection. Quite disappointing.

Happy to see Rocky Road flavor back in my local supermarket, but when opened at home, found it was just chocolate ice cream with nuts - no marshmallow swirl. Couldn't give away opened ice cream, so had to throw it out - very expensive waste.

I have been eating Haagen Dazs since 1976. It was always expensive...and worth it. Most recent purchase - 2/25/22 - changed all that. Carton seemed lighter, but I thought maybe it was just my imagination. Then I opened it. It was not firm, not dense, it was light and airy...like a very CHEAP ice cream, full of air. Taste...like a very CHEAP ICE CREAM FULL OF AIR! More profit short-term, lost customers long-term. Did Putin take over you, too?

Very bad attitude from the cashier JJ, we went there for first time and tried to select from the display, once we selected 1 item, bullied us by asking? "You want cone only?" Then we selected some chocolate thing, then, asked, "You want cone and source only? No need ice cream?" Irritating the customer. Look into this kind of persons before allocating them for customer handling. I will not go there anymore. Totally disappointed even no mood to taste the Ice-cream we bought there.

There were very few cherries in this container of what they label cherry vanilla ice cream. It was bland and more like flavored ice, comparable with the stuff you get at the low rent Chinese buffets. It was not creamy and I did not enjoy it. After eating 1/3 of the $7, 14 oz container I threw the rest away.

Bought 2 boxes of 3 Ruby Cacao. Was disappointed since I had guests and the ice cream top part would not hold the on the stick in 4 out of 6. Pretty messy. Still delicious. I was embarrassed in front of my friend since someone had a white shirt. It was pretty pink after and so sticky. As for the others they mostly on their lap. Had to offer dry cleaning or clean it myself.

'Cookies & Cream' and 'Caramel biscuit and cream' ice cream varieties contain coconut oil, which overpowers all the cookies, biscuits and creams flavors. Initially, I thought that maybe I had purchased some vegan variety, but nope, the front of the packaging doesn't say anything about it or coconut oil. It hadn't occurred to me to stand in the supermarket and read all the 4 ingredients lists on the backside because there's another covid wave + a curfew in our city, no one wants to linger inside in the store. So this was a big surprise afterwards.

I have been a loyal Haagen-Dazs fan for several years. When I recently bought the strawberry ice cream label on the container was altered. I found it odd and examined the container to make sure I was buying the correct brand of ice cream. However, when I began to eat the ice cream, I immediately noticed a different taste to the ice cream. The flavor was not rich and bland. I bought a second container, thinking it was a one-off, but the flavor was the same as the initial one. Needless to say, Haagen-Dazs has lost a loyal customer. Very disappointed.

DISRESPECTFUL AND UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE BY STAFF NAMED TAYLOR. I would never ever want to do business with Haagen Dazs as long as you employee this type of staff! I am extremely upset at lack of service. Monday 8/2/21 At 730pm when the two staff members were serving another patron we were told they were closed. The time for closing is 8 however customers such as ourselves were denied service when they should have been open and operating until 8pm. Very disappointed!

I have eaten Haagen-Dazs Salted Caramel ice-cream for many years. It is usually absolutely delicious and very tempting to finish off the entire tub. However, I bought some yesterday, and when I tasted it, it appeared to be an entirely new recipe. It had no flavour. It was not rich and and creamy and didn't taste of salted caramel. It tasted watery and bland. What have they done to my favourite ice-cream??? I really need to know why they have changed the recipe. I will not be buying this again. This is so disappointing.

My wife and I purchased two ice creams, I myself have never had Haagen-Dazs before but we were jonesing for some ice-cream and Andiccio 24 happens to sell it at their joint, so we got some off Ubereats. Neither of them were tasty or great the one thing they were, was expensive. R43.00 is a lot to pay for an ice cream that doesn't deliver on taste, nor on size. Sorry Haagen-Dazs... I'm sad to say that I'd rather buy a Magnum at the gas station.

I could not believe it but right when I opened the package I was wondering where the other half of the ice cream bar was? And now also finding out the ingredient of the product is equal to Mc Donald's. They lost us all. Haagen-Dazs fake **.

I knew it! I’m screaming for ice cream! Where’s the cream??? The formula changed - it tastes like ice milk. Flavorless, watery. We purchased 5 different flavors, and I thought I was eating Dairy Queen. I won’t be buying it anymore. I’ve been eating this brand since the beginning, and I’m beyond disappointed. I feel tricked and deceived. Just like how all of our manufacturing left the USA and went to China. Products are no longer made the same. And now we can’t even rely on ice cream. Shame on you!

I Love the ice cream bars on a stick with almonds. So creamy, so good. However, like many other companies trying to save a buck, Haagen-Dazs has made the product smaller. So, so, disappointing. Not buying anymore.

I have been eating Haagen Daaz for so many years. Nothing on this planet compares to it. Saying that I would like to add I purchased a pint from Rite Aid this last week. After buying it I went home and let it get soft like I like to eat it. While eating it I felt something on my tongue that sort of felt like a strawberry piece, but at the same time I noticed a dark piece in the pint still. I took the piece off my tongue and put it on a napkin then removed the dark piece from the pint. I was very nervous and queasy, Because it wasn’t a strawberry at all and started looking like a brown out layer of a Water-Bug!!! Yes can you believe it. So I took out my phone and activated the camera and zoomed in so far, seeing the little hairs off the end of what must have been the tip of the wing or top of bug you're able to see little hairs.. Regardless 100% this is the outer skin of a Water-Bug or a Roach!!!

They were bought out by a Unilever division (same company that destroyed Breyers). Cheap ingredients - watered down cheap cream tastes terrible. Will never buy again. This is theft. They buy quality names people trust in to cheapen the product and make billions of dollars more than selling it. They have done the math and know they can cannibalize their business and rip people off. ALL their ice cream tastes like absolute crap now. They reduced the size of the pints, added water and called it "decadent". DO NOT BUY HD. They have become like all the other Wall Street own companies now.

You cost reduced Haagen-Dazs so it's no longer a special product. Lost its special flavor esp vanilla and it's now icy...but oh boy. You killed it. It was a different product and now cheap tasting like all the rest. Great job marketers.

I have been eating Haagen-Daz coffee for over 35 years and noticed a taste difference soon after Dryers bought out Haagen-Dazs. I kept saying it does not taste the same. Why weren't the customers told that the ingredients have changed. There is something missing in the coffee ice cream. The prices continue to go up but the quality seems to decline. Please correct the issues as the best customer is very disappointed.
