Washington Beef recalls ground beef chubs

Washington Beef of Toppenish, Wash., is recalling approximately 30,260 pounds of ground beef chubs.

The products may be contaminated with extraneous materials -- specifically hard plastic and metal.

There are no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.

The list of items being recalled, produced on December 27, 2018, with a “Use or Freeze by” date of 01/20/19, can be found here:

The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 235” inside the USDA mark of inspection.

The recalled products were shipped nationwide.

What to do

Customers who purchased the recalled products should not consume them, but discard them or return them to the place of purchase.
