Taylor Farms Florida of Orlando, Fla., is recalling approximately 732 pounds of salad with chicken products.
The product contains fish (anchovies), an allergen not declared on the label. The product incorrectly contains Caesar salad dressing with anchovies instead of Bacon Ranch salad dressing.
There are no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of the recalled product.
The the following ready-to-eat salad containing chicken, produced and packaged October 22 – 23, 2107, is being recalled:
- 9.75-oz. plastic bowls containing “Taylor Farms American Style Pasta Salad” with a “USE BY 11/01/17” and case code of TFFLD 295 L5 EA.
- 9.75-oz. plastic bowls containing “Taylor Farms American Style Pasta Salad” with a “USE BY 11/02/17” and case code of TFFLD 296 L5 JP.
The recalled product, bearing establishment number “EST. 44818” inside the USDA mark of inspection, wase shipped to retail locations in Florida.
What to do
Customers who purchased the recalled product should not consume it, but throw it away or return it to the place of purchase.
