Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) is recalling 10,832 model year 2013-2016 G550 and G63 AMGs and 2016 G65 AMGs.
The steering coupling may have been insufficiently tightened, resulting in the steering connection wearing which could cause a loss of steering, increasing the risk of a crash.
What to do
MBUSA will notify owners, and dealers will replace the steering coupling, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in May 2017.
Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372.
