Bakkavor Foods recalls Trader Joe’s Egg Salad and Potato Salad

The products may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes

Bakkavor Foods USA is recalling Trader Joe’s Egg Salad and Trader Joe’s Old Fashioned Potato Salad.

The products may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

There are no confirmed illnesses to date.

The following products, which come in plastic cups and trays with SKU numbers printed on the labels and “USE BY” date codes on the top or bottom of the containers, are being recalled:

The recalled products were shipped to Trader Joe’s retail stores in Alabama, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Vermont and Wisconsin.

What to do

Customers who purchased the recalled products should discard or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
